I must rate as one of the most critical of speedway fans re: Darcy Ward, however when reading that post I took it to mean that Poole are now without Chris and himself riding for the team, nothing more nothing less.

never thought of that before you mentioned it tbh, but you are right about us Witches being out on a limb now. Being cynical re the averages my first thought was that Poole will be happy as they will get Newman on his low pl average and not his higher el average plus can have ellis too!!! As I said I'm cynical!!! Must admit the likes of king, stead, cook & masters averages are going to take a large chunk of the 40pts!!

Would I be right in thinking that as Lakeside will not be involved in EL/PL in 2017 that Jon Cook will not be involved in any decision making at this years AGM?

well Bruv whilst I have to say, I did find the ramblings on here rather weird at times tbh, well one person's anyway. But there is no doubt that you all getting together on back straight has been brilliant for atmosphere Thursday evenings so I truly hope those of you left/still speaking carry on this Thursday as the lads certainly need you all behind them. Sadly I shall be in Paco land Thursday so will miss it all.

this thread brought this event to my mind wackie. V Witches that night and apparently the rider with the bad back went a funny shadeof white/grey prior to withdrawing!! I have to say I felt he never really rode as well after this happening,make of that what you will.
