Why should i reason with the amount of anti poole bashers on here, it doesn't matter what you say, if i say its black they will say its white, so theres really no point. i back my club i support my club, and i support all what Matt ford does for Poole Speedway. And i agree with you that something is seriously wrong up at BV. You do not get contractors in and tell them to get on with it, without somebody at the club namely the track curator overseeing the proceeedings. That to my mind is absolutely stupid

I'l make it simple for you. Its the track curator who has to work on the track for 7 months of a season. If he cannot be assed to go down and oversee whats going on then he shouldn't be the track curator. Nobody worth there salt will sit back and let a private company get on with something they know little about. Its absolutely shocking, and brand new Stadium, "which alledgedly is the benchmark of british speedway" and they cannot be assed to check on what the contractors are doing. You couldn't make it up. Our old track curator put a track in, in 7 days with assistance to put in the fence poles whats BV's excuss.

People have been saying that for years now. Nothing new there. I know many regulars at poole who used to go every week now pick and choose, because its become to expensive..

Clerk of works overseeing the laying of a speedway track, you couldn't make it up.. Where the hell was Meredith. He's the one who should be overseeing it.

I don't agree Phil, Meredith should have been there to oversee both. Thats what should have happened, but did it ? As i said the track curator is obliged to be present at both.

Not at all. I have no problem with Rosco being Team GB manager, he can only work with what he has at his disposal whether its Swindon or Team GB.. But if i was a Swindon fan i wouldn't be to pleased with result thou's far. I supose thats contradictory as well. I thought you'd blocked me ...

I asked the same question ages ago and drew a blank. The track curator SHOULD be present to oversee any repairs. And he also should have been present when the base and top was laid. If not, why not.. Just goes to prove what a rush job it was ..
