I asked the same question ages ago and drew a blank. The track curator SHOULD be present to oversee any repairs. And he also should have been present when the base and top was laid. If not, why not.. Just goes to prove what a rush job it was ..

Sadly, it seems they are all the same from that part of the world, alledgedly Ippo fans, but spend there whole time slagging Poole off. Problem is, or should i say its not a problem, but we have a bigger fan base than anywhere in the country, so we don't have to beg fans to come and watch us.. Nobody gets bored watching Poole. But you stick to your theories.. Why should the Kildemand saga affect you going to watch Coventry. Smacks as just an excuss.
