  1. Very true, he was avaliable to any club, but not one club went in for him. That tells you the state of the rest. Sad really. Its called ambition, but clearly many others don't seem to have that.
  2. We won't be counting any Chickens untill its done.. The club is far to professional for any of that..
  3. And that was down to the time of day, and the diabolical winter we've had. 8am this morning the track was slush, but assuming the forcast was right it would be fine, and as many saw even the bowers made an appearance before the start. But it will come, the boys will have it sorted. Dear old uncle Rosco said the self same thing. But theres an awful lot more to winning at poole bar getting out the gate..
  4. Steve was that the chap who was sat in the front row below you with a face like he'd ;lossed a £1 and found 5p ?
  5. Superb performance from all the boys today from start to finish.Sadly, for the others this team will only get better. Rosco deserves to lay into some of his riders after this performance, they will improve but like Steve0 says, they are a long way off us. Great bumper star this week, and after the Poole section, hey presto we have two pages of Sponsors... Only at Poole !!! Just another day at the Poole office !!
  6. Its been peeing down all afternoon and its still raining now. I do hope tomorrows forcast is right...
  7. £10 entrance would be a start. You've got to dangle a carrot the fans way. Fans cannot afford £15 on a regular basis nowadays. What you lose on the swings you would gain on the roundabouts. And it wouldn't harm a few more clubs to do the same..
  8. Yeh, I think his abacus has a problem.. Oh I forgot, he wouldn't know what an abacus is,he's way to young..
  9. The hole in the Poole track is not there. Facts Phil...
  10. I wouldn't go as far as a superb track, but the place has a lot of potential and is not a bad little set up but needs a lot of money spent on it. but in this financial climate its very hard for a lot of clubs to break even, nevermind make a profit.
  11. Nobodys gloating mate, its just total incompetence. The track may have looked ok to you, but how it rode is another matter.
  12. Very sad news this. And im sure there will be others looking over there shoulder..
  13. His bro had it badly last week, that doesn't help either...
  14. The facts are pretty clear now don't you think...
  15. The track curator still has an obligation to oversee the laying on the track.
  16. The track curator has an obligation to oversee the laying of the track.
  17. Really, then where the hell was the track curator,he should have been overseeing the process. And that is fact...
  18. Somebody already has. Par for the course I suppose..
  19. Granted Phil, but it took them just 3 hours to balls the whole lot up,along with that Track curator.. As I said umpteen times, they would have known and so did the track curator know bends 3-4 was to soft and not racable, and therefore the meeting should never had gone ahead nor fans let in,and because of that ,they've backed themselves into a corner. And im sure the speedy Star will have a full write up this week.
  20. Ah that's how they talk nowadays in Swindon eh... Never knew that steve O was an Aussie...
