Amasing, Moley can wave a Union Jack, wave a Red flag put the riders on 2 minutes, but he can't shut Tatum up Seriously, they should keep Moley, he brings a big of Humour to the proceedings!! -
Its going to rain Cats and Dogs in the morning!!! I feel sorry for the bloody track staff, wonder what time some of those have to get up, if they go to bed Just hope they have plenty who are prepared to go in at daft o, clock Must admit, it was the right decision tonight, even if the rain stopped i wouldn't have fancied watching our Chris ride in that slime!!

Swc - The Race Off
Starman2006 replied to Sandie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
You are never satisfied are you, the lads did very well to get as near to the final as they did tonight. Why don't you wake up and smell the coffee. If we put out a team of old stagers you moan, then they put out the kids and a couple of experienced lads and you still moan! Personally i thought they did very well to get as far and as close as they did. your post is Unbelieveable. -

Starman2006 replied to tomazpozrl's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well, reguardless what everybody thinks about the team Rob has put out, its time to get behind the kids and give them our support. As for Danny King, he rode a stinker at poole last Wednesday, its in his own hands now to show Rob Lyon that he's got a problem should we reach the race off. That also goes for the rest of the Boys, show Rob that you will be hard to drop!!! Update, Team GB are best priced 18/1 to win Event 2 with Stan James. Theres an incentive lads!! -

Millenium Stadium Or Wembley Stadium ?
Starman2006 replied to zonkers's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Cardiff everytime for me as well!. But 2 gripes, 1 the Hotel costs, they seem to take the wotnot, and 2 the ruddy M4. and the carparking situation. But then you could always do what we did, come off the M4 take the A48 into Cardiff, ok its S L O W going back up the M4, but then its slow everywhere nowadays!!. try the M25 on a Friday afternoon, or the M3 during week days after 7,30 in the morning, thats S L O W!. So for 1 day a year that can be put up with!. The view at Cardiff is superb, oh, only one more gripe, the Ham Burgers we brought in the place over the road from the Stadium tasted like, and i could have done with a chainsaw to break my way through them!. On the plus side, £2 for a bottle of Coke in the Stadium was quite reasonable, given what you would pay for a glass of coke in a night club, and if you held it up to the light you can see straight through it!!. I don't know who the bloke is that sings the Welsh National anthem, but he does it superbly every year, this year he even sung a couple of songs!. You wouldn't get that at Wembley!!. Even the police are very ameanable and poilte!. Nope, all in all Cardiff everytime for me. -
Must chuck my hat in the ring next time the job becomes avaliable. I fancy a nice 5 bedroom house in Norfolk, with fishing rights, and a nice big Duck pond, with Duck House!!. Think £6,million should just cover it, plus Expence's, Not forgetting the car, to do the job properly in!!!.

And probably cost CrazySue!!. Would love to Stay at the Hilton, even for the one night, besides, give me somewhere to park the car!!. I take it the Rooms are big enough!!.

Alcohol At Cardiff
Starman2006 replied to loyal royal's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I agree Snyper, if they want to piss £40 50 60 Quid down the drain they must be able to afford it, and thats entirely up to them. But providing they do not upset others in the stadium in the process!!. If they are Drunk and start causing trouble then they should be turfed out no questions asked, simples!!. And after spending a fortune on Hotel and tickets, they may well think twice next time!!. -
Nicholls V Sayfutdinov
Starman2006 replied to Cornishman's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Did you watch the GP or are you just Guessing what happened, because Scott never ran Emil, one Punch Sudjfutinov into the fence!. Scott wanted to go down the tunnel but Emil pushed him into the airfence pit gate, Emil also threw the first punch, get your facts right pal!. -
I have to agree, Scott did nothing wrong, he's there to win races, and rode a hard race!. Emil One punch Sudjfutinov is starting to show a bit of temperment, and i feel that if everytime things don't quite go his way he will throw his toys out of the pram, then perspective promoters will take a dim view of this!!.

I was on the middle tier, middle of third fourth bend, no problem with the sound here. Although it was probably a little loud at times, twick it down a touch and it will be fine, imo!. -

Pedersen Breaks Finger Having Tantrum

Susie, why don't you offer to sit in his corner during meetings, your influence and smile should sort his problem out. He won't lift another finger in anger!!. -
Another Ridiculous Exclusion
Starman2006 replied to Brummie Boy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
As we all know, Nikki Pedersen is one of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet when he's not riding, but he's a different person on a speedway bike. But on this occasion, its a difficult one. The way i saw it, it was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I feel Nikki Did move out slightly, and Emil did move in slightly. Yes Nikki was ALMOST in front, but i do feel Nikki could have held a bit tighter line!!. But its all down to opinions!!. Must say well done Anton, rode very well all night!. I don't know where Scott goes from here. He was never at the races. I feel he should cut the GP next season and consentrate on a purely League campaign. Whether its confidence Bikes personal or all three. He needs to take a leaf out of Lee Richardsons book. He's now regained his confidence and is riding well again. Last week at Coventry, he didn't really beat anybody, and was entitled to get the points he did on the bridle. In the British final he looked a pale shadow of his former self. and tonight he just wasn't there!!. End of the season he needs to have a good sort out, clear his mind and start afresh, because he's a dam sight better rider than he's been showing of late!!. Who's Refereeing at Cardiff this year???. -
Brits In The Gp 2009
Starman2006 replied to shoy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
That would probably figure, he then needs to sort himself and his equipment out. As i said he has the abillity to be a top 6 rider, but end of the day its down to him to sort things out, from top to bottom!!. -
Brits In The Gp 2009
Starman2006 replied to shoy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
No disrespect To Scott or any other rider, but as somebody pointed it out, a lot of the older riders are now coming towards the end of their careers, Scott is still only 31, he has imo 5 more years at the top. Of the remainder of the field, Scott is vastly more experienced. IMO he's just got to continue what he was doing last season, in the past he's been rather a soft touch, he's become more aggressive on the bike, he needs to focus on his starts. he needs to use his head in certain situations, remembering, he has four laps, he hasn't got to do it all on lap 1, he's more than capable of winning races from the back, he is a natural motorcyclist!. His aim imo should be to make the final in every GP, if he doesn't then just amas as many points as he can, then move on!. I don't agree with him leaving the EL out, but on the flip side i can see his point!. As for Kelvin Tatum being in his corner, if thats what Scott wants fine. But i feel personally he'd be far better off having Neil Middleditch in his corner!. Scotts got the abillity, Neil is a very good motivator!!.
