Personally think it's time Mountain moved on his career has stalled and like Harrison needs to get away from Scunthorpe for a while and ply his trade elsewhere. I wouldn't bother with Ablitt either with the average he has he'd start more then likely in the Top 5 and he isn't consistent enough to warrant a chance yet again on an average that the points could be used elsewhere. Pickering if he wants it and Ingram (if he finally improves on away tracks) are the only 2 from the 2026 team worth continuing with (Although Palm Toft would be a decent signing if you could guarantee a season of the way he rode in the Playoff final but he's a bit of an enigma). Zischke would be a fantastic signing but he'll probably end up at Glasgow were the money is.

I think they've done some work on Gate 4, I haven't been across the Humber for around 2 years now but when I did go. The guy off Gate 4 especially early on in the meeting usually to about Heat 7 whoever they were would win off gate 4 it used to be a massive advantage.

If Howe uses his Head here he'll put Mountain in Heat 12 and 14 and use Ingram for his 3rd ride in place of Hook in Heat 13

Fair enough it's Ingram's first year on 500cc but how is it physically possible to fly like he does round Scunthorpe then be a full half lap behind on any other track? As for Hook and Ablitt there's no words.

Scunthorpe's website is woeful, less then 3 hours before the meeting and still no preview of what's their biggest away meeting of the season so far.

Interesting that Scunthorpe have Jacob Hook listed at number 5 tonight I guess you can't do any worse than Palm Toft usually does there (only beats Ingram) Scott could be good back-up with Pickering in Heats 1, 5 and 11 though.

Yeah maybe they think Scott will score more then the 3 points R/R would have got from Harrison's rides (Pickering winning his ride the others trailing in last)
