  1. Its not what is on current ice bikes, this looks like Motocross style upside down forks, these can be very expensive and go ito thousands of pounds, and are really impracticle. The problem with forks is that in speedway they inevitably get bent, therefore you need to straighten them, which at the moment isnt too bad until a certain point. With Motocross style forks, the problem is that MX bikes are unlikely to be involved in head ons with a fence, therefore are less likely to get bent. So they will be more seceptible to breakage from this type of damage. Their inclusion does open up the possibility of MX parts and Maanufactures maybe looking into the market Swings and Roundabouts, like anything I think
  2. He was using a different frame all season. I believe it was made by Blixt, and featured boxed sections with holes to lighten it the forks were offset from the frame, resulting in an easier ride when cornering. The only problem he had was it had to be stood up differently in the pits otherwise it would fall over
  3. well for one I hope they do re open in conference, it would be absoloutly ideal for me!!! only 20 mins away - perfect (instead of the 270 odd miles ive been making every week to ride at redcar! lol) add to the fact ive been riding in my own new design mk:knights race jacket all year. and im on the look out for a conference ride for next season (although i think mk wont happen for then). lets see what happens, but i agree conference would work at MK, although from the amount of people ive spoke to in MK and Northampton, I seriously think speedway at MK would work at any level, so many people want to go but dont want to travel to the other tracks, whereas MK would be local and accessible.
  4. Has anyone noticed Ive been wearing a MK Knights race jacket for the past few season, with a design done by myself for a college project??? I reseasrched in to the whole thing, and visited the old tracks. Both have now gone, elfield park completely gone, dont know whether theyve started on the stadium, but im sure speedway would work, itd b great for me just down the road especially conference and training level!!!
  5. I wrote a book detailing the basics last year, am currently sorting it out ready for a publisher. I learnt through being with a mechanic for 3 years and learning from him. It was a really good experience and got to meet a lot of top guys through it. but putting into practice is so much different, but you just have to tinker - but if u dont know ask someone
