How about a 10 week Premier League season?

Why 13 heats? Surely 15 is better value? And Robert Lambert at reserve for King's Lynn? -

A 2 month Speedway season? You cannot be serious! Maybe do like other sports, though, and be home one week, away the next. -
It's because Perks came into a position which was, basically, scoring nothing in every match. Swindon had a strong top 5, but the criticism was that their reserves couldn't beat and egg, and we were narrowly losing matches regualarly because our reserves couldn't beat anyone. Perks and Vissing came in and were scoring well against the other reserves, with Perks being a great crowd pleaser with is never say die effort. Nobody is saying he is the next Loram or Screen. Adam Ellis, however, just might be...?

What sort of questions should be asked? There is a level points limit in place. Swindon played it well this year, just as Poole have in the past. In a way, the culture of making team changes is brought about by the relatively low points limit anyway. It means the ambitious teams replace "filler" riders as the year goes on.

Were my eyes deceiving me, or did some old guy by the pits gate give Jason Doyle a shove when he returned to the pits after his first race spill? A great performance from Swindon, who have produced a brilliant display of how to use the points limit to strengthen your side this year. Rosco may not be the most astute tactical manager, but when it comes to team building and making changes he is the best in the league by a mile. He did it with Musielak before, and he's done it Jensen and Perks this year. The team we started the season with would not have been anywhere near to this side that has finished the year. I wonder what last night's result would have been with James Shanes and Dawid Lampart in the side. Adam Ellis has been immense in the play-offs. Can he go on to become a top international rider? Looking at how he rode last night, you have to think that he can. Good to see two proper sides competing in the final, with no guests or R/R by the way.

I posted the exact same team myself before, although I'm not so sure about Nick now. Is he on a false average or is he at his level now? This team is a logical Swindon side for next year though, particularly if Toby decides nor to ride UK and the "One over 8" rule is still in place.

The ref was correct. Kelvin was talking rubbish. It's a different scenario if riders are on the same team, surely. Kelvin was just annoyed because it helped Swindon. How gutted were him and Nigel when Swindon got a 5-0?
-
Totally correct. I csn't believe how many people think all 4 should have been back after that, including Kelvin Tatum There is a major difference in two riders from the same team getting in each other's way to when it is opponents. Great win for Swindon but you have to feel for Wolves a bit because of the conditions. Same for both sides though.

Please not Eurosport. Pleaaaaaaase. Not sure I'd have Kurtz after the way he went missing in the play offs. I'd prefer Jensen.

Yes. Personally I hope we get to keep our top 2. That team I tried above did come together remarkably easily though.

So, if there is one rider over 8 allowed, I would guess that we will lose Batch, Tobias (who has hinted at not riding in the UK next year) and Vissing (who has a bit of a "one season" look about him - but may still be in if the averages fit). That gives us: Doyle: 8.96 Jensen 7.86 Ellis 6.49 Perks 3.57 Total: 26.88 with 15.62 remaining. So: Morris 5.38 & Bellego 5.80 then leaves 4.44 for the final rider. Vissing is 4.43. Sorted.
