Steve Brandon (BT Sport) will be hosting the evening and interviewing the BSPA Chairman, Keith Chapman. Everybody is welcome to attend with non-members only £3 and all proceeds to help Neil Vatcher and the GB Young Lions. We've got some interesting evenings line up at the NSSC. Starting this Wednesday, 28th March, we turn the tables on Nigel Pearson. Asking him the questions and getting his thoughts on all things speedway. Our next event is on Thursday 12th April when we welcome Poole co-promoter, Gordon Pairman, for his first visit to the NSSC. How come this is still dragging on? How can riders (and teams) encourage sponsorship when they still don't know if the sponsors will get TV exposure. Surely by now race suits, bike covers etc need to be sorted.

Tony Steele, who has a vast collection of old speedway films, showed this race a few months ago at an NSSC meeting. It was a terrific race in front of a packed Brandon stadium and even though most in the room would have known the result it still drew gasps and cheers and a spontaneous round of applause.

Thanks for the link to the fixtures but I'm disappointed to see that there's hardly any fixtures in July. There's no meetings between 6th July and 8th August. Is this normal? We've booked a holiday in Sweden and Denmark from 14th to 28th July. We appear to be lucky in Sweden with meetings on the 17th & 18th but no Danish fixtures on 25th July has left a bit of a hole in the plans. Is there any chance of any speedway in Denmark from 24th to 27th July?

Can anybody confirm that this is correct. Smederna's website also shows fixtures on both days. Then there's no fixtures on 24th July? Also in the Allsvenskan league there's a gap between 5th and 26th July. I was starting to plan a 2 week holiday in Sweden in July but it's all looking a bit odd. Thanks.
