  1. Be nice to know - wondering if I have time to mow the front lawn !
  2. Copy the link and then delete the extra "_" at the end. It'll work then
  3. Track rode fine, although surface material looked very Terenzano-esque. Racing line very much around the kerb, with most of the entertainment from Leon Madsen on his rocket ship. Won't be making a trip for the SGP though.

  5. From the 37 EL meetings staged so far this season, just 7 have been staged without at least 1 guest or R/R being used. 6 of these were in the week 31/3 thru 8/4, with the 7th one being Belle Vue vs Swindon on 11/5
  6. Seems these folks currently have the responsibility for marketing SpeedwayGB http://www.360licensing.co.uk/our-brands/speedway-gb
  7. The coventrystox.com website only lists the meetings run by Jeremy Heaver. Steve Rees' Startrax promotion ran a meeting there on the 19th October 2014. http://www.startrax.info/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=285
  8. All becomes clear now why Lebedev went on a lap of honour at Debrecen after missing out to Dudek in the run off and then performed multiple donuts !! I agree, both really good choices.

  10. Isn't Round 2 on May 10 at Landshut ? Maybe it'll be Holder & Batchelor that evening, given its Eastbourne vs Poole the same night.
  11. Just got home after the usual nightmare of the M6. Would like to set the record straight and inform and advise everyone about this. Firstly this was not a Clean Cut Sports production. The whole set up was provided by a company called Race Tech who it would appear were supplying the pictures to bet365. I've now idea if it will always be for bet365 but tonight it was. When told about this last week by GoSpeed I was asked if we could supply a feed of our live commentary (for no fee) This was agreed to on the understanding that races would only be able to be seen if a bet had been placed. The fact that the audio appeared not to be clear was absolutely nothing to do with us - we just gave it to Race Tech The fact that just £5 deposited with bet365 this evening gave you the whole thing from start to finish was certainly not advised to us, and if it had of been then we would not have provided a free commentary. I have asked for immediate clarification from GoSpeed if this was just a one off - if it wasn't then I wonder what is the point of my business paying thousands of pounds a season with individual EL promoters for exclusive DVD rights when for a fiver (which you can withdraw afterwards) you can sit at home and watch for effectively nothing. I am happy to keep you informed further especially as the next meeting to be covered, according to the Race Tech guys, will be Birmingham vs Belle Vue on Wednesday.
  12. Video interview with Edward Kennett here. http://www.ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.762
  13. March 28th a difficult date given its the day of the SEC pairs in Torun. Granted not many involved but it would place maybe Ward and Iversen in a difficult position
  14. News : http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.23420
  15. I guess Poland are waiting (like we all are) for the dates of the GP qualifiers and U21s etc to be confirmed, FIM Track commission meet this weekend to ratify calendar.
  16. I'll try again as editor doesn't appear to be working ! Polish forums reckon it will be Nov 15 before a decision is made on the Bydgoszcz / Gdansk / Berlin GP
  17. Shame that Simon (speedibee) feels it necessary to be so disingenuous - especially when young Bailey acquitted himself well and rode a sublime first and second bend in Heat 7 to lead Ashley Morris. That one move alone demonstrated to me that the lad has potential.
  18. GRT Media. DVD available to order from here. http://www.grtmedia.net/merchandise.php?subaction=showfull&id=1158451820&archive=&start_from=&ucat=13&

  20. I dont think 8 teams from 10 matters given that it doesn't determine the league champions. The Quarter Final ties are played at each teams venues, the 4 quarter final winners playing in 2 semis and the Final at the NIC in Nottingham on Play Off Finals weekend. Ofcourse, with tickets sold well in advance for the weekend, fans from 8 teams (plus no doubt some from the other two) will have purchased them. Its sold as the 'big weekend'of the season.
  21. Braehead finished 8th in the 2012/13 EIHL, yet got second choice in the PO because they topped their conference. The 10 team EIHL is split into 2 conferences, each team playing the others in their conference 4 times home and away, and they also play teams in the other conference twice home and away. Nottingham topped the league and were therefore Champions, and had first pick in the play offs, choosing Fife. Braehead topped their conference, and had second pick, choosing Cardiff Second in the league Belfast had third pick, and chose Edinburgh That left Third in the league Sheffield to play fourth placed in the league Coventry. Nottingham defeated Belfast in the Play Off Final to be crowned Play Off Winners, having already won the league and the Challenge Cup
