  1. Looking at the rules you are correct, Rowe will have to move out of the RS next year and will get a 25% reduction on his average.
  2. Isn't he owned by Ipswich though? Also Boro not riding this year so Jenkins had no choice but to move? Either way this is British Speedway so we all know the rules will be changed to suit.
  3. Excellent post. Hard to argue with any of it. That is probably the first time any broadcaster has asked a hard hitting question, it was great from Abi and she has really come on on as a speedway presenter these last few years.
  4. 1 race too far for Ipswich, good effort but lions will pull that back on Thursday. If Emil was there Leicester would have been in trouble.
  5. Blimey Eurosport actually asking the hard questions we'll done Abbie. As I said earlier Emil isn't allowed to ride.
  6. Yes you most probably will, still be 11 league titles behind though lol.
  7. You honestly think if Emil was available tonight they wouldn't cancel the guest and use him. Belle Vue had Klindt booked for the Semi 2nd leg and Final in 2022 to replace Fricke, when the Lambert deal got approved at the last minute they cancelled the guest booking.
  8. You should care if you want Speedway to survive. If you don't think things like this will have an affect then your being very naive. There will be no Speedway to entertain you if the sport keeps doing things like this.
  9. He rode in Poland yesterday and said he was 100%, so if he's not riding tonight its because he's been told not too. So he wont ride Thursday either, your only hope is if Ipswich get through to the final and Torun go out next Sunday.
  10. They have already confirmed they are running next season.
  11. Absolutely, I meant in short term as that's the way Speedway promotions think. I fully agree this will drive some away, it stinks and makes a mockery of the whole league structure. I will ask this question, Leicester are 5th, Sheffield 4th with the lions having 2 matches left v Lynn to get above the Tigers, do Sheffield agree to drop out?
  12. I think Leicester will be delighted to get Ipswich. I'm sure they pushed to be given top spot in the discussions.
  13. There's absolutely no doubt this is commercial. The semi final Aces v Tigers will see big crowds at both, 1 has to go out but still benefits from a big crowd. Commercial there are no losers in this tie. The Aces will not be favourite against either Sheffield or the in form team Leicester (my favourites to win the title), but that said on any given night around the NSS we are more than capable of beating both by a big enough score to win on aggregate. If Ipswich have no Emil then they are cannon fodder in the play offs so there is noway Sheffield would give up riding them unless they felt it was commercial beneficial. Also I suspect Eurosport/Discovery want Aces v Sheffield at some stage in the playoffs as it's the biggest tie, the only way to guarantee that is they meet in the Semi.
  14. Yep, something needs to show them they can't keep taking the public for granted.
  15. It's a joke, makes a further mockery of the sport. Belle Vue and Sheffield would of wanted each other for the gate receipts.
  16. Yes unfortunately for Ipswich the will lose the cup final with the guests they have. They have no chance in the playoffs either unless the guests are better, but with limited choice it's still going to be very difficult.
  17. Unless I'm mistaken (I do get confused by averages) that team is under the 40 point limit and that's without the GB reductions. I'm not sure whether BV would want Tom back or vice versa, but Tom starting as a second string would not be an issue for him, as if he goes to any team stronger than Birmingham he's mostly likely to be 4th in the Averages. I don't think Riders care what position in the team they ride. Feedback on the averages would be appreciated as I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong
