  1. Nice, well balanced team. I think they look one of the stronger teams in the league. Good job by the new promotion.
  2. Don’t say that, some people are welcome to leave.....
  3. No it’s open to anyone, from anywhere, to talk about Redcar speedway. Not that difficult to understand really.
  4. Exactly, take the disagreement somewhere else, got nothing to do with Redcar Speedway.
  5. Team looks good, but not a league winning team unless the second strings and reserves up their averages significantly, in my opinion. The fact we also don’t have a massive home track advantage, most visiting riders love coming to Redcar, makes it difficult also. But we will see some good speedway at least.
  6. Yes, announced a while ago. Comments re the weakness of the reserves are fair but both are young lads who are likely to improve and that’s part of the joy of speedway, watching young lads get better. Doesn’t look like a top of the table team, but certainly not weak if they all ride to their potential.
  7. Right having had time to think about the team, I expected 5 of the 7. Riss will hopefully have a better year back at Redcar and Kerr was a no brainer after the way he rode for us last year. Pleased to see Kasper back, excellent around Redcar and seems to be improving. Edwards, like I said on the earlier post, impressed me on his visits in the U21 and Julie Lewis meeting and will hopefully up his average. Surprise is Roynon, can be good on his day but always a worry about his style and ability to stay fit. We shall see. Should be competitive at home, not sure we will be one of the strongest teams on the road but a solid team that will entertain us I’m sure.
  8. First rider announced as Jason Edwards. Unexpected, but impressed last year on his rides around the MPA, particularly in the U21 meeting. Roynon (surprising) and Kasper Andersen the next two. Kerr and Riss the last 2.
  9. I knew you would be “in the know” Hopefully you are right.
  10. So it’s the Redcar team reveal tonight. Do we expect any surprise names? Top 3 seemed pretty nailed on but then rumours of TJ. Who will be second reserve? Will Jordan Stewart be back?
  11. What average would Jesus Christ come in on?
  12. If that’s the case then assume it’s in place of Kerr as all the rumours seem to say Riss is coming back?
  13. Bears, Boro & Browns

  14. That narrows it down ......to most riders in the league. If the other 6 are right then it doesn't leave us much for the last rider anyway.
  15. My reading of the rules is that if he is eligible for the NDL (UK passport and ACU licence) it will be 2. If he hasn't got those, and he hasn't ridden in a professional league, it will be 4. But it's speedway, so who knows?
  16. Congratulations to Poole. Some of their fans will be unbearable now. So no change there.....
  17. I’m not sure a post that starts “ I’ve been Sarjeants biggest critic” backs up your point, but there you go. Rowe is a good prospect but hardly set the world on fire after he left us. Promoters did what they thought was best for the team overall. Even if MPT had been replaced by Ben Barker it would have made no difference overall, the other riders didn’t score well enough in either meeting and the Monarchs rode better.
  18. Well done to the Panthers. Some great racing over the 2 matches. Thought Belle Vue would have put up more of a fight.
  19. Well I’m in the “ he tried and it didn’t work out” camp. I’ll leave the conspiracy theories to everyone else.
  20. Makes a change from you having a go at Sargy, I suppose. Or just moaning generally. I’m enjoying his performance. Genuinely think it’s just the timing of the meetings that have worked against MPT and the Bears. He’s been a great rider for the Bears and to suggest otherwise is poor imo.
  21. This lad Palm Toft looks good for the Panthers. Such a shame he couldn’t ride for the Bears in these matches....
  22. Couple of meetings too far for the Bears, who were always up against it in the circumstances. Sad way to end the season and not a true reflection on how the team has performed overall. Edinburgh seem to have hit a bit of form and Kemp finding his feet at home certainly helps. Good luck for the rest of the season.
  23. Might have bothered with the stream if we had a full team out but MPT missing both legs has made this much less attractive for a Bears fan. Hope it’s a decent meeting still and no more injuries.
  24. About what I expected. Monarchs riding well and Bears struggling with 2 from R/R. Congrats to the Monarchs.
