Real Player works and Heat 10 was a bit of a howler, Pepe had the run aroung Gollob just went out the fence and clipped Pepe as he went past. Sums up Jacek from what ive seen on polish TV that he doesnt have that much ability but doesnt mind taking a bad crash for the team. Heat 15 was correct decision as Pepe was beat and just played for the dive, he could have kept the bike out of the fence if he tried. However Heat 10 was bad, but that was the kind of decision Bydgoszcz used to get regularily 5 or 10 years ago from what i remember of the TV matchs, wonder why? -
Looks like KL have a duffer then. Looks like KL isnt the only place he cant ride...... cue Mr Hone.

I just wish that the bspa would communicate more so that if there are changes ppl could see the reasoning, so often stuff is just handed down from above with no reasoning. The rule book should be online in full with the infamous supplementary regs. Anyway for 2006?? Points limit of 45 in all 3 leagues including bonus points. For the EL grade riders using the bands as before then introduce a squad system but use the grades to stop teams bagging all the top riders by limiting them to 5 grade A&B at any one time. Teams submitted for each match must conform to the 45pt limit so a team cant use all 5 A&B at one time. All non UK newcomers to the league to start on 6pts PL and CL to continue as they are, but any rider who has extensive foreign commitments which means he will miss more than 15% of planned matches to be banned from the leagues, those riders should be in EL. In the PL return to the 9pt top limit for assessed averages for recognised speedway experience ie czecho, poland etc. All others to start on 6pts. Run the CL as a proper league with a genuine 4th amateur league for 2nd teams. It should be a training ground for new tracks and new promoters with a restriction of present patriality kept. Over 15 age group only. Amateur league to be just that with riders on 80cc bikes. Keep the T/S and T/R rules as they are simply to reduce the amount of jumping around every year. Bonus points for aggregate win and if teams dont complete fixtures in time each team to lose 3 pts for each incomplete fixture come seasons end. Any more will be added.

Thats the point, build small tracks out in the sticks that have minimal facilites but can be used as much as possible. -
Youth Speedway Racing
Dekker replied to morganbike's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Thats the point, they will learn that slamming the throttle isnt the be and end all of speedway. 80cc never stopped any of the scandanavian kids wiping the floor with the brits brought up on grass. -

putting 12-14yr old on 500cc doesnt really gain that much, 80cc is the way to go.... maybe about time for a really amateur system with no connections to bspa so that grant money is forthcoming. -

Dunno what Holta was upto but he just wiped out KK pretty cynically by that video clip. Sits up on the bike and just goes straight on.... -

Any News Of George Jarvis ?

Speedy recovery for the lad. cant help feeling that 80cc is what kids under 16 should be riding, the scandanavians have done well out of that grade of racing too over the years. -
Truely the end of an era..... Had wondered why it wasnt as authorative the last few years now we know why.

Will They Retain They're Gp Spots?
Dekker replied to Col's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Apart from the top 3 or 4 and maybe one of the Poles its clear that most of the riders dont have that many major sponsors to be dropped by. Unless something changes the GPs are becoming too expensive to compete in. -
Doubt it you've been hyping Bjerre for years now and he still aint nothing special.
-
So thats 2 tracks Bjerre can ride, but he's pretty useless away from them aint he.
