  1. No it soesn't it runs out the April 2013 so we won't of won it by then!!
  2. Are Newcastle speedway doing a 2013 calender to follow on from the 2012 one if so which riders will be in it this year?
  3. No thanks I like it better the way it was
  4. Well after a disappointing result last night can the diamonds consolidate by winning tonights match? is Cristian Henry ok after being withdrawn last night? I hope so, as he's had mainly a whole injury free season so I hope it stays that way for him. Weather update at 10.09 its bright blue sky about two miles from the track and very sunny but I would suggest wrapping up warm as I think it will be a cool night, and please remember its a 7pm start!
  5. Thank you at last someone who seeing the other side. Adam McKinna? James Sargent? I don't know but I think it would be totally suicidal to go with double headers and not use one!!
  6. Well that is a double edged sawed yes I understand the method behind the double header, however I am still against it as its IMHO to host to important fixtures with a increased gate charges as well as changed start time without a home fixture to plug it, not to mention the fact we are using RR so I would hope we would have a number 8 for all four matches?
  7. How many times do I have to say it I hope it does work for Newcastle I love the club and I don't want to see things not working out for it. As I said earlier I wouldn't of chosen them for a start.
  8. What a great attitude that is & you wonder why the terraces up and down the country are down hmm. I would never not pay at Newcastle, and for your info I never buy a programe.
  9. That is your right to your opinion, but I think you need to look closer to home.
  10. Well spotted that man & have been for 10 years . But you get my drift . Meaning I think in this case what Newcastle is doing is wrong with both the pricing as well as running a double header with very little time or scope to advertise it as well as running a double header with what could be two of the most important fixtures of the season.
  11. As said above I want the club to succeed, so I hope it pays off. But IMO There's none so blind as those that can't see.
  12. Maybe so Abbot but I wouldn't of chose Somerset, but thats a case of different strokes for different folks. As stated above I hope I'm wrong and I hope its a BIG success as I want the best for my club, but I do feel like we are shooting ourselves in the foot.
  13. Yes as always I will be there as usual I am not affected as I'm a season ticket holder but I would be there even if I wasn't as I am passionate about my club, but I really think the crowds will be down and disagree with holding two important matches back to back and don't see the point in making it where people (may OR may not) stay away as you want as many people to attend all important matches I would of thought? I agree partly with what you say but as a club I don't think we've been hit as bad with the weather as many other clubs (Thank goodness) but for the other part please see my above post!
  14. I disagree with this sentiment I think in this climate that we are in and add in no home meeting to advertise it its a big ask, and I hope I am wrong but I don't expect a big crowed on Sunday and IMO its not what I would call value for money.
  15. Wey Aye man no worries I also second you with no injuries to either side
  16. Well as no one has started this one off yet I thought I'd do it. This we welcome Plymouth to Brough Park with Ben Barker and co, please remember this week we return to our regular start time of 6,30, hopefully we can take all three points on offer in this match to lift us on the way back to the top of the league. Newcastle 55 Plymouth 40
  17. If you listened to what was announced at the track last Sunday it was explained there by Andrew Dalby, his rotor between then and Next Sunday.
  18. Does having eight matches in nine days answer your question? I am not surprised by this result although still very disappointed by it as a lot of teams have gone to Sheffield this season & won & yet we've still lost, but we have a tendency to not go well at Sheffield and we would be on the receiving end anyway as they've lost at home in the meetings leading up to it. Also not forgetting the amount of riders we have at the minute that are carrying injuries & knocks, we now need to look on to tomorrow at Berwick & then Sunday at home to Plymouth.
  19. Well after two weeks of no action at Brough Park can we finally see some speedway and can we return to the top of the league with taking all three points, but more importantly with no injuries to either side. Please remember this is a 7pm start time! Newcastle 52 Rye House 38
  20. Just to bring this back up again I'm still looking for this match, or if any other diamonds fans have any other diamonds matches for sale on dvd/video please see my advert Here. Many thanks Mike
  21. I just wondered if any of the fans of either side mentioned know if/who filmed the first leg at Peterborough, or if any fans are willing to sell me the video or loan me it. As I have the second leg at Brough Park & indeed both legs of the one against Stoke from 1992 final, I have tried many avenues to get this match without any success. Many thanks for all help in advance Mike.
