Well the next action we have is another encounter with the Redcar Bears neighbours of ours, at home after a two week break. Please also remember this is a rare working Monday fixture and as it is it sees a rare 7.30pm start time!! Is it confirmed yet an any riders missing I am sure I read on this forum that Steve Worrall maybe? Also do we know a date for the return fixture yet?

Thanks for that Steve.

Is that now confirmed it will be the 22nd? as it was announced by Barry in the box and George that they could not get a team on that day but it would be highly likely it would be on the 23rd at 7.30!

Just seen the press release on Kenni and I completely agree gutted for him as he was such a good ambassador for Newcastle Speedway alone & I wish him all the best & hope justice is served correctly. Hang in there Kenni! -
Correct IMO it is partly Newcastle's fault however as stated previously I don't entity leave the blame at their door as it's also to do with the way the sport is run so shambolically but in my view that matter is now unreversible. In my opinion that is not good enough as you can get and sometimes need more points on the road!

Whilst I accept what you are saying so far we have not fielded a full quoter of riders on the road and is starting to look a strong possibly we won't and will only have all our riders available to us at home which if is the case in my view is appalling, put that along with some of the other ridiculous happenings within speedway at the moment, for me to read that I'm supposedly being "judgemental" Hmm. To may I also note to Dave I in no way took offence at! Answers on a postcard please!! That was my point but of course in the world of democracy within Newcastle Speedway is not aloud I put my head above the parapet and say what I think and believe is always a sticky wicket!

He said: "It was really frustrating because we were riding so well, we would have go to heat ten if we had got a move on during the meeting. There had been quite a few falls throughout the meeting and with the added rain it just would have been too risky to carry on. "I was absolutely shocked when the referee stopped the race during heat two but Danny done superbly to go and win it again. We will race the second leg on Sunday and that will probably be it because I can’t see us restaging this. We take lots of confidence from tonight and look forward to another win on Sunday." I hope this helps!

Whilst I partly do agree with both posts above I do still feel strongly that if a fixture is put in weather it be a challenge or official one I still think you are charging money for them & not even a reduced amount for a challenge or meaningless match, nor in many ways do I think you should as the costs are the same whatever the fixture, but I do think all fixtures are or (at least should be) classed as official.so there for go in the book as completed not, Not waste of time and can't be arsed to be restaged!! Just an opinion.
