Looks like you lot are a bit error prone also - it was the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) that made this decision, not the BSPA -

Could you quote the Official source of the above? There may well be a time limit to lodge a protest (together with fee) but I think it is about 48 hours after the match. -

Or you could also say Ref's mistake so why should Somerset suffer for his/her inability to do their job! -
Teams as per Official Edinburgh website:- EDINBURGH BORDER ROOFING MONARCHS: Sam Masters, Justin Sedgmen, Kevin Wolbert, Erik Riss, Craig Cook (capt.), Max Clegg, Liam Carr.(G) SHEFFIELD TIGERS: Aaron Summers(G), rider replacement for Ashley Birks, David Bellego, Cameron Heeps(G), Andre Compton, Arthur Sissis, Josh Bates. Appears Rob Branford's arm injury is taking longer to heal than expected and his target return date is now 24th July. With Erik Riss now number 5 in the Green Sheets, Monarchs will now track an all Australian pair and also an all German duo.

Berwick V Peterborough (on Sky) Wed, July 8th

No wonder there were so many unsatisfactory starts when the there is no effort made by the Start Marshall to get any of the riders nearer to the tapes. Even Pearson eventually commented that the Official was not doing his job after the nth re-run. Over the past couple of years whenever I've been down to Shielfield, I've noticed this chaos at the start, and tonight, the camera shot directly above the start gate highlighted how much space was afforded to the riders to roll. Time Berwick put someone competent in this job, as the present incumbent is as effective as a chocolate teapot. -
A repetitive typo in your posts However, whatever you say Likas :P P.S. Note the smilies

How about spelling Adam Roynon correctly for starters

Based upon league results so far, I would put Somerset ahead of the pack. My own team (Edinburgh) do not have the comparable strength in 5 - 7 that Rebels have, and imo, Kurtz will also continue to increase his average over the rest of the season.

Peterborough V Glasgow 24/6/15

Fricke d.o.b 29.03.1996 Kurtz d.o.b. 27.09.1996 Wouldn't say six months age difference is "much older". But Fricke has won three consecutive Oz U-21 champs, Kurtz nil. Fricke has also score a 15 pt max in the current U-21 Qualifiers. Both are good prospects, but stats suggest Fricke has delivered more than Kurtz so far. -

The best team won on the night and if they maintain this level of performance at home, they will not be a soft touch for anyone. I was surprised how good Jonas B Andersen was, and if he can consistently replicate this, the Bears will be on to a winner. Adam Roynon also showed encouraging signs of recovering his pre-injury form. Ben Morley will only improve further, and why some sour faced Bears are calling for his replacement after tonight, defies logic. Looked a decent sized crowd and apart from the local Waldorf & Statler brigade on here, the Bears fans will have gone home happy tonight. Monarchs just have to take this on the chin and learn from this chastening experience. -

Doh it was only 2/3 he missed because of other commitments -
Teams as per Edinburgh Official Website:- EDINBURGH BORDER ROOFING MONARCHS: Nick Morris, rider replacement for Rob Branford, Theo Pijper, Justin Sedgmen, Craig Cook (capt.), Max Clegg, Erik Riss. PLYMOUTH DEVILS: Kyle Newman, Jack Holder, Morten Risager, Todd Kurtz, Ryan Fisher, Sam Simota, guest for Roland Benko. Messrs Morris & Pijper guest for SGP Challenge Semi Finalists Masters & Wolbert. This will be Nick Morris's first appearance at the Dale this season and I think will do a decent job for us on the night, as James Grieves used to do when guesting for us previously.

Think the word "may" in this regulation permits the MC to treat each case on it's merits (i.e. at their discretion). In this instance I do not think Glasgow were deliberately manipulating the regulation by replacing a fit rider, but were forced to make a change due a rider suffering a serious season ending injury. Also given that Kozza was increasing his points return immediately before his accident, I can understand why the MC chose to base their decision on the Tigers overall team average when Glasgow submitted the change (i. e. bringing in Howe on his current GSA).

Edinburgh Vs Glasgow, Friday, 12th June 2015

Well done Tigs, you thoroughly deserved your six point win tonight and gave the Monarchs a salutary lesson in gating tonight. On the evidence of this performance I can envisage all the silverware staying in Scotland, albeit 40 miles West of Edinburgh. Nice atmosphere at the end, visiting Tigers fans cheering and Monarchs fans applauding the Stripes on their victory parade at the end -
Line-ups as per Official Edinburgh website :- EDINBURGH BORDER ROOFING MONARCHS: Sam Masters, Rob Branford, Kevin Wolbert, Justin Sedgmen, Craig Cook (capt.), Max Clegg, Erik Riss. GLASGOW ALLIED VEHICLES TIGERS: Stevie Worrall, Richard Lawson, Aaron Summers (capt.), rider replacement for Kozza Smith, Dimitri Berge, Victor Palovaara, James Sarjeant. A shrewd juggle of the Tiger riding order will ensure Richard Lawson appears in ht 8 and probably as r/r in ht 14 also. This looks like being a close run affair and the Monarchs unbeaten home record could be in jeopardy from the strong Tigers reserve pairing. Weather forecast for Friday is excellent and looks like it will be warm & sunny at the Dale for the first time this season

Newcastle V Sheffield League Cup Sunday 31st May 2015

I’ve noticed the trend on several threads that when a side are having a less than successful season, results wise, out come the doom and gloom merchants predicting that attendances will dwindle and the club will shortly close down. If this were to be the case universally, then any club finishing bottom of the pile would cease to exist and league speedway would eventually run out of clubs. For me, the main attraction is exciting racing, slickly presented in a professional fashion, then hopefully, followed by my own team being good to watch and reasonably successful. I recognise that there are some customers whose main reason for attending is to win all the time (aka glory hunters), so they will disappear when the going gets tough. My own side have previously finished bottom of the table, so I know the feeling. I remember when Cradley Heath had poor sides in the 60’s/early 70’s, but because the racing at Dudley Wood was good to watch, they still had one of the largest home attendances of any club. IMO this prolonged spell of cold and wet weather is the major factor causing decreasing numbers coming through the turnstiles. I have visited Brough Park many times since 1968 and reckon the current racing is actually more exciting than previously, and I wish that George English & Co. continue to prosper there. -
As a fan with zero mechanical nous, please don't laugh, but will the tuners not be able to expensively tweak the Gerhard engine to give their customers an advantage ?

Doubt if I could ever match your rantings on here a few years back demanding a long ban for Zetterstom when Christian Henry was injured. You never had the decency to acknowledge that Christian did not consider Magnus had been guilty of the dirty riding you alleged from your viewpoint at the opposite end from where the crash took place. As usual you try and twist things by selectively quoting statements outwith the full context to justify your warped opinions. At your time of life you should take care that the bile you spout forth does not damage your health further.

Agree an immediate match ban would not have been unjustified. Having also witnessed Garrity's on track assault of Derek Sneddon with his helmet last year, quite rightly there was no clamour for a subsequent ban for that. That Bjerre inflicted the only defeat of the night on Wolbert in his next race would also indicate that no lasting physical damage was done to the Dane by Masters irrational outburst. But predictably, the usual suspects, led by the Whitley Bay Windbag, who is still feeling sore at Monarchs continuing dominance over his beloved Diamonds, weigh in with their nasty, unsubstantiated guff.
