Regarding the track, Rye House used to be a place where no away team enjoyed to visit. Now it's more or less help yourself. It's not just the track, it's the standard of the home riders. Edinburgh seem to be pretty decent away, so you can't put it all down to home advantage.

There were a bunch of idiotic Eastbourne supporters at Rye the other week. Cheering when opposing riders fell and swearing loudly even though there were young children around. An elderly female Rye fan was abused as she walked past. Even the National League has them

Not often I see eye to eye with rmc, but I have to agree, £18 was way too much. Doesn't help that it was probably the least entertaining meeting at Hoddesdon this year. There was a very good turn out. I saw loads of new faces. Highlight of the evening was Webbys suit in the bar after the meeting
