Agree with you to some extent, but you're not going to progress riding once a week. That's where we have suffered this year. Apart from the odd guest ride, most of our side are riding exclusively for the Rockets. Edward, Luke, Steve & Bunny all have full time jobs/businesses outside of speedway. It's really just a hobby for them. At least Garrity is getting on the track more often, albeit against mostly inferior opposition.

He seemed happy enough to sign for another season at Rye House, then his head was turned when this fast track nonsense was dreamt up by hard up Elite League promoters. Phoning the club on the morning of press & practice saying you ain't coming was the start of the rot. It only takes one or two bad apples around the pits to set the wheels in motion. This has been a shocking year for Rye House speedway. The last thing you need are riders who's minds are not on the job.
