I agree. Can't see us getting past Berwick in the cup, the form they're in. The play offs look unlikely. Chance of progressing in the League Cup if Plymouth do us a favour against Somerset
I agree. Edward apart, the rest of the side are inconsistent, especially away from home. I can't think of anyone available who fits the description you gave.
You could see what they were thinking with Greenwood after his last outing there, but why not go for the best possible guest, unless Ben wasn't allowed to in the regulations. I notice Ben has NEG PLR against his name on the NL green sheets.
Perhaps Rob Branford was unavailable, or too expensive
Of course, Workington were hopeless. Rasmus Jensens Twitter comments were pretty pathetic and smacked of poor loser. He was probably trying to cover his embarrassment at such an inept performance
I've seen dull meetings at Peterborough & Somerset, supposedly great race tracks. Don't think Sky could predict how poor Workington would be, but Berwick just blew them away from the starts. You can't deny the track shape doesn't help.
Is that really a good reason to keep returning to Berwick? It looks spectacular, big and fast, but the racing is dull.
Most Premier League tracks have had better racing this year.
