  1. Don't know if there were any down from Berwick itself, but there was a Bandits fan down from Newcastle and four up from Hoddesdon.... Oh, and a couple of Rye House fans, three if you include Macca
  2. I think you read too much into that. Too easily offended
  3. Well, that wasn't the worst I've seen. Barkers 3rd to 1st was probably the highlight. Surprised how easily Berwick rolled over. All the hype over Berwicks Austrian seems a little OTT on that showing. Some pretty glum Bandits fans on bend 1. They seemed pretty shocked at what they saw. After seeing Ipswich v Rye last week I expected a point at least for the visitors. Let's see how they do at Peterborough tonight before writing off their season. Well done to Connor Mountain.
  4. If you want to concentrate on playing with your ding-a-ling I'd gladly take up the update duty.
  5. They won easily at Scunthorpe, then next day were unlucky to leave Rye with just a draw. If they do a job on Ipswich on Thursday I can see them leaving the Showground with three points
  6. If the Bandits come away from Ipswich with a favourable result they'll be full of confidence on Friday.
  7. Check his fuel tank for sponges, or perhaps he's lowering his average for a return to Rye House? There's a few Berwick fans looking forward to Fridays meeting.
  8. Been reading about Kenny Carter. The golden boy of his era. A bad boy, but loved by the fans. Then he murdered his wife. Can't complain about a few tattoos and the odd swear word can you?
  9. Think I read they were alternating between him and Hume on a meeting by meeting basis, but I s'pose it all depends on their availability
  10. No jealousy from me, just some light hearted ribbing. I'm sure most Glasgow fans couldn't give a toss whether people are jealous or not.
  11. I suspect you'll have to get in touch with Cardiff University
  12. People moan about the lack of personalities in modern speedway. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he's box office. The sport needs more like him
  13. If that's the case then they'll lose me. The Cardiff GP is about the social side as well as the speedway. Walking around the city bumping into old friends and acquaintances in the numerous bars, cafes and restaurants is a huge part of the Cardiff experience. I can't think of a better location more suited to the social side of speedway. How many speedway tracks can offer that, not to mention all the hotels, guest houses and student digs a few minutes walk away.
  14. I'll be there. Unfortunately there's no Berwick tour bus coming down, so you won't have rival noise makers to contend with.
