  1. If it's anything like last years live band forget it
  2. I'm a postman, not a civil engineer, but it looks like someone's come along with a bucket of tar and a roller
  3. They filled in the crater at the car park entrance today
  4. No different from Len Silver, he alienated many fans during his final few years at Rye
  5. Danyon Hume is the latest to jump ship, replaced by Sam Woods, hopefully with a bike fitted with stabilisers
  6. Dated December. Either he changed his mind, or The Brummies saw him practice and had a change of heart
  7. Was it Jamie Habbin who wore pink leathers in the early 90's racing for Peterborough?
  8. Nikolaj won't do a Sundstrom and put 3 points on his average, but I'd guess he'll be averaging close to 8 points by the end of the season
  9. Also means Kasper doesn't start at reserve where he would've been our trump card
  10. We had to submit our 2016 annual leave requests by November last year, so there's no way I can can plan any speedway tours. Saying that I've requested the last weekend in July as that's been a regular Northern Tour weekend in past years
  11. I suspect this will be the last year of speedway at Rye House. This time next year I reckon they'll be planing to Tarmac over the track and turn it into a motor sport circuit.
  12. That happens when you spend too much time trolling then ask a genuine question. Nobody will take you seriously
  13. Am I reading this right, Mitchell Davey as a potential 3 point number 7?
  14. He doesn't realise we're laughing at him, not with him
  15. The information came from his pit crew, so there's obviously been a change of heart
  16. Andrew Silver made a brief return in 2009 after a 12 year absence. May not have been a great success, but was hugely entertaining. Scored a maximum in one of his last meetings and held a mid 5 point average when injury cut short his season. He was in the Rockets side at Berwick when Lawson was riding for the Bandits
