  1. Never take notice of how riders look going around solo.
  2. If you don't keep supporters informed, of course rumours will start to spread. It's human nature. Look how Glasgow handled their stadium improvements and Belle Vue the new stadium on social media with regular news and updates.
  3. Oh I see, whoops!I agree with you about his promotion skills though. He was quite the showman in his early years, but became stale in his final years at Rye House
  4. Started promoting speedway when he was 14?
  5. I'm saving my money for the track shop on Saturday and some new gear
  6. Average side, promised stadium improvements not yet apparent, change of team colours after decades of yellow & blue, uncertainty over the future of speedway at Rye House after this year... That's nothing?
  7. Pretty sure most riders would jump at the chance to earn mega bucks, no matter how far they have to travel. If the alternative is no team place I certainly would
  8. Ignore the people that pay through the gate to keep the place going. Great advice. I'm glad you're not my accountant
  9. Well said that man!! I've devoted 31 years of my life following Rye House up and down the country. Am I allowed an opinion?
  10. Just looked through updates archive, couldn't see it. I think he came through from 15m into second behind a team mate a couple of times though
  11. Pretty sure I saw him come off 15m at Rye House and past both home riders by the end of lap 2. He's not just a gater
  12. Anything that attracts people to Rye House speedway has gotta be a good thing
  13. What a ridiculous idea. Mixed football doesn't work
  14. Hold it in the pikey club next to Ashfield. That'll be an eye opener for them
  15. Have Edinburgh speedway been actively looking to move back to the city area? I thought I read a place has been earmarked a year or so ago
  16. Same person who told you the tooth fairy and Santa Claus are real presumably. I've no desire to have my money sitting in somebody else's bank account for 5 months gaining interest First bend would hold many hundreds. Can't think why the crowd would be that much higher than any other 4's at Peterborough. I'll guarantee there will be not many more than 4,000 in attendance on either of the two days
  17. It's all about opinions. This one is a guaranteed wind up
  18. It's a long walk back from the station in the dark
  19. It's ok, the sofa is quite comfortable
