Anyone who's been to Ashfield in the past would tell you what a dump it was. Not been since the investment , but have been told the transformation is stunning. I'd like to think the new Rye owners will have a similar plan for Hoddesdon.

Steady on, that's only one thing! I've a lot of time for Anders. I was sad to see him leave Rye, but his confidence was shot to pieces. He's one of the few Rye riders who'd sit and chat to us in the bar after home meetings

Having watched Anders for a few years he's very much a confidence rider. Once he gets a few wins under his belt you'll have a cracking rider there.

Once Anders gets that rod out of his back and regains his confidence he'll be knocking around a 7 point average. Top bloke

I Wouldn't blame him if he wanted a move, but now the new promoters are fully in charge he may want to see what their team building plans are. What helps is signing a rider who under performed alarmingly in 2014, then puts two points on his average the following year.

That's pretty much how I remember it.He attempted to explain that he couldn't keep Doyle due to averages, but nobody believed a word of it. After a lot of disgruntled supporters took to social media and this forum to voice their disapproval, Silver used the local newspaper to verbally attack certain Rye House fans (me included). I still have the cutting... A PR disaster
