  1. Plymouth (Devonport), South West England Right now, the tide in Plymouth (Devonport) is FALLING Next LOW tide 2hr 30min (21:54 BST) Next HIGH tide 8hr 40min (Wed 3rd 04:04 BST)
  2. I don't think anybody is disputing that they had some rain (or hailstones). What I dispute is that the track was in no condition to race or couldn't have been had some work been carried out on it. Doesn't matter though... just more fans driven away from a dying club
  3. Can somebody photoshop me up the picture of Mario Balotelli wearing his "Why always me" t-shirt but with Buster's head on it?
  4. Awkward phone call to Connor Mountain to be made then. Can only hope Leicester have already snapped him up. Wishing a speedy recovery to Tate, let's hope we see him back on a bike next season, he certainly made an impact in British Speedway this year.
  5. We'll never know will we as nobody could be arsed to lift a finger to do anything with a far from waterlogged track. The sport is finished at King's Lynn
  6. Tom Brennan didn't do his SoN selection chances much good at Belle Vue tonight... on the other hand Adam Ellis seems to have returned from injury and hit a bit of form
  7. ... on 250cc's, looking at past SGP3 (or equivalent) results, sadly the rostrum placed riders very rarely go on to achieve anything.
  8. The photos of the track must have been taken some days ago then... I've seen many waterlogged tracks and that track was not waterlogged
  9. Reminiscent of a certain race at Poole a number of years ago in the play off final
  10. It was bad from Oxford... it was even worse from Belle Vue, nausea inducing, embarrassing quality from a broadcast Tv company!
  11. If that's the way they want to run the sport, fine. Just count me out when there's ANY chance of rain
  12. I've been to Lynn numerous times and in days gone by Buster would re-lay the track, seems he can't be arsed these days... so neither can I
  13. The weather did exactly as forecast, I thought as they didn't call it early doors there was every intention of running, to then cancel with the track looking like it did and to not even do any work on it is unforgiveable. Fortunately I didn't pay any entrance fee so I will be reintroducing my lifetime ban on King's Lynn, which I suspended last year when they were in financial difficulty. They've lost any regained faith I had in them. I hope all you Lynn fans enjoy your last few matches... I'm through with em
  14. To be fair the car park was in the best condition I've seen it in ages... they should have ran it out there! If you're canceling matches with tracks like the one in the photo Lynn may as well pull the shutters down now!
  15. Who was? I'm currently sat in the car park, there's not a single puddle! Rainfall radar indicates the weather had passed through
  16. You only have to look at the British Youth Championship competitors from 10 to 15 years ago to see how poor the youth development has been in this country. Some people look to Lambert, Bewley & DJ Woffy riding in the GP's and will claim it to be a success. I wonder if there has ever been any analysis done as to why 90% of these competitors chose to give Speedway up after having gone to all the trouble of acquiring the setup to compete... let alone having the gonads to swing their leg over a motorbike with no brakes! Especially in a country whose leagues rely so very heavily on foreign and doubling up riders.
  17. I totally get that riders can aggravate injuries upon making comeback. The SCB don't seem to accept this though unless the rider is injured in the UK, make their comeback in the UK and aggravate their injury in the UK... Or they didn't in Covatti's case as he got a 28 day suspension for less. It's not a good look in the Kurtz case though. At least Musielak fronted up and said he won't be riding in the UK for a while.
  18. I've posted the details a while back or on another Belle Vue thread, but he's already ridden twice abroad and missed the next Aces match twice, 3rd time lucky tonight
  19. Nah... Unfortunately I think he's finished at PL level
  20. I think prior to it being screened on both occasions he did not have the correct helmet cover on
  21. Once it's careless, twice is stupidity https://www.eurosport.com/speedway/speedway-gp/2024/leon-madsen-was-disqualified-from-heat-5-in-warsaw.for-wearing-the-wrong-helmet-colour_vid2136207/video.shtml
