Fair play they've done a decent job with the track, probably thanks to the doggies being cancelled

There's a really easy way to tell the Thompson Twins apart... look at their names, one's called Joe and rides for Wolves, the other's called Dan, is currently injured and doesn't ride for Wolves

I've noticed while watching some of the BSN streams that when they record a track walk/guide well before the start of a meeting, there are people already on the terraces, which was quite a surprise for somebody who likes to roll up at 19:25 for a 19:30 start... What time do you generally get to the track and if you're one of the early birds... what on earth do you do until the racing starts?

Masters only scored 4 in Polski, so Monarchs were probably better off with Richard "Fingers" Lawson

And if Ed Kennett can get over his injury woes they'll be quite a formidable outfit

Like an earlier poster said, they should be racing for the last place in the team, as there are no longer any "Junior Jaunts" or "Reserve Romps" ()... the logical thing to do would be to have Clegg in the Cubs team in place of Dan and/or Joe (who are wasting their time in that league) and compete for it.

Richard Lawson's finger has been busy this week... that's the 2nd time it's had an outing!

Was just listening to a podcast this morning and they mentioned that Wolves have a "voluntary" curfew of 10:30, so should be alright all things being well

Why have a Cubs team then if you're constantly going to overlook the riders you are developing? It's debatable whether Max Clegg is "alot" better than Connor Coles

They've ridden Speedway in Australia and Italy in extreme heat, later in the evening but I doubt they were also racing against a curfew

I'm not so sure he's "hyped up" but I agree he's not a CL rider in its current setup. He probably should be a decent 2nd string come reserve in a proper strength 2nd division. They should have promoted from within imo.

Because they've only got an extra 30 minutes to prep the track in probably the hottest conditions of the year, a track that's reportedly been a bit on the dodgy side all year and with kicking off at 8 it may bring the curfew into play if there's any faffing about

Will they be supplying deck chairs and free ice cream?
