How relevant is that! much better than the irrelevant Summer Trophy... which appears to have never existed. Secondly: we have tracks doing "their very best", some tracks don't even do their very best, they just expect people to turn up. Thirdly: Although Speedway GB Team has achieved well deserved success in the SoN, the rest of the time they only seem to ride on the continent with a rag tag bunch of riders who are available. A proper national team has first call on ALL of their riders and hold proper test matches home and abroad. Successful sports have successful leaders in charge... don't forget we have the Scummy centre green presenter running things from his caravan in deepest darkest Lincolnshire making things up as he goes along to suit his own club, which ain't bad when compared to Liberty Media running their F1 operation from a tent in Denver or the Premier League directing operations from a Nissen Hut next to Paddington station

I thought that if he signed for Berwick first in this country, he's their asset and won't be going anywhere without Berwick's say so. It won't be any fault of Glasgow's if he ends up there next season, Berwick will have sold him or loaned him out... that's if the asset system is the same as it's always been.

If he's signed for Berwick why would Glasgow be snapping him up? I don't get it?

Not every rider goes round shooting his mouth off that no one can beat him when he's at his best though, occasionally you have to back those words up with actions. Don't get me wrong I'm a big Tai fan (although he lets himself down sometimes) and all he HAS done. Still hope he's got a few competitive years left in him yet

It's sad to watch Hans Andersen riding like he is at the moment, he's been a great servant to British Speedway and I hope he rides himself out of it, when his bike gave up the ghost even Mrs Panther threw her (his) hands up in the air shaking her (his) head... although it didn't quite wipe the smile off her (his) face . Scott Nicholls for me is not such a surprise, I would say his year last year around the showground was a freakishly good one as he's never really been that competitive around the bigger tracks before.

Totally agree. He obviously loves his speedway to still be continuing in the NDL at his age, the CL is too strong for him to move up imo, the league needs weakening next year to encourage riders of his calibre to stick with it and be decent 2nd string/ reserves

how many matches is that? not gonna fill the calendar for most clubs is it, it'll be Leicester, Poole/Glasgow struggling to get their meetings done at the end of the season, while they wait for everybody else to sort themselves out

You can't even get "regular" fans in to support your team! It's not about attracting existing fans, it's about capitalising on the Commonwealth Games being held up the road. And why are people going on about athlete security? Somebody has mentioned it and you're parroting it as fact. Seems like you lot will make up any excuse not to get a crowd along. As for having no idea... I think you need to look closer to home, your promotion has done a stonking job at packing Perry Bar to the rafters, it'll just be you and@HGould attending Perry Bar at your current rate I hope you're very happy together!
