The limit was way too high and with more big names staying away it makes it impossible for teams to find the riders available to make it closes to the limit of 40.5. Change it to 38 or 39 and get teams that will be equally balanced but more importantly get rid of the race format that has caused this mess

Any other time the signing of Mikkel Bech 6.16 would be a great signing but it looks like this is the heat leader trio and the liklihood is that two from Jacob Thorssell 6.18 Ricky Wells 5.91 Joel Andersson 5.50 ? and Sam Masters 5.60 will be the final places. That is well short of the 40.5 limit and every team bar Swindon look like being the same and it could be that the limit is changed to about 39

As there are so few riders with an average of 6 or more is Daniel King classed as a heat leader ? There are less than 20 riders on such a average so realistically King should be the number 3 with Bomber at 1 or 5 and with Garrity and the reserves it still leaves a considerable amount to get up to 40.5 and many teams will struggle to get a solid team of just three heat leaders under the limit which appears to be set far too high considering the riders available and the riders like Janowski and Iversen set to stay away. Wouldn't be surprised to see a meeting held in December to change the limit or rules on team building strengths

Bank Holidays the Greyhound meetings are finished by 2.30 so a National League fixture could be run at 4pm and finished by 6pm ready for the Elite League fixture to open at 6.30PM with a 7.30 start. That would take care of 4 or 5 fixtures and maybe worth selling tickets for both meetings at £25 ?

If it is so easy to get a top rider it is weird that in 2016 there could be a league with no Janowski Iversen Zagar and Kildemand

Last season there was 14 home fixtures on 13 nights and this is a way of getting Ladbroke to have the stadium used for 24+ Mondays during March to October but the concern with two teams sharing is the gaps caused by rain offs. If Wolves ride on a Monday and their next two are rained off it will be a six week gap between the two meetings which is not accepted by many and I have fears fans will start going to other things on a Monday or simply staying in. Had this of been two Wolves teams featuring four of the same riders so you can see for example Jacob Howarth Morris and Clegg each week it wouldn't be so bad for those that would go each week but this is two different sets of fans with one use to seeing weekly action. It will be interesting to see how it goes but for Cradley it's a win win situation

Does make you think Why didn't Wolves look at entering the National League in the past with so fee Elite League fixtures. Cradley will now track a team of Max Clegg and Matt Williamson but if it was Premier League they could have added Kyle Howarth and Ashley Morris along with club assets like Ricky Wells and Nicolai Klindt Had this have been a Wolves team each week in different competitions it could have worked but this way Cradley get a home track and a year to get ready for the Premier League in 2017

Matt Ford has been critised for years about breaking rules but in the truth he is simply making the most of the situation and the riders to make it a winning combination. He can find out how to get the best of a rider and fit them into the role needed and after a great season they can be forgotten about on a high average but I know from one rider he really looks after them while they wear the teams colours. Success can breed contempt and after all the success Poole has had with him in charge it brings out the jealousy disguised as hatred but it has to be admired the way he can build a team to get the end results. Cradley Heath had the same under Colin Pratt but he knew every little detail and all the planning gets the right combination and results so I applaud Matt Ford and hope he carries on doing what he is doing but this time not winning !

Just a few years ago but teams were much stronger then considering who lines up this year or next
-
It is going to be hard for a few teams to get close to the 40.5 limit so a rider on 5.51 isn't the priority
-
Will you be complaining if he joins Coventry ?
-
He started 2015 as a second string and in that time averaged around 8.5 but he then moved up and finished at just 5.51 which shows he struggled
-
Kylmakorpi and Howarth join Wolves and could it be a hat trick before Christmas of ex Bees
-
One fixed race night and 14 fixtures in the Elite League is the only chance of getting any of the big names of returning to Britain. That is more important than the money as they want to ride but not multiple flights in and out and stuck in airports. It's ok saying forget them and let British riders come through but when they start getting to a decent standard they will also be looking at Poland and Sweden to ride and Britain will become a pain for them too. As for Leicester getting some heat leaders Kasprzak and Watt look the most likely to front the team or one from Swindon but other teams are already queuing up for their services
-
Peter Karlsson 5.51 will not be on the heat leader list of the top 24 riders unlike Kenneth Bjerre which means Schlein 6.24 could be available but Wolves need a rider like Doyle 9.44 Zengota 7.79 or Harris 7.34 to get close to the limit. PK will be looking at a new track and will no doubt come back to haunt us in the future As for Howarth I agree it would be right for him to start on his Elite League average but the official wording is ALL Tier 1 riders will start on an assessed average from their Premier League averages
-
Freddie soon to follow as they are best mates and both live in Andorra 1 2 3 Jonas Kylmakorpi 6.80 4 5 Fredrik Lindgren 6.11 6 Kyle Howarth 4.27 7 Max Clegg 3.00 Wells or Thorssell will be back and a new number one and Sam Masters 5.60 is a likely signing for the number 2 race jacket
-
He said that he can no longer do a Saturday night due to the GP's and Poland fixtures makes it hard and will be moving in 2016 and I think he will be at Poole with Holder and Andersen and North
-
1 2 Ricky Wells 5.91 3 Fredrik Lindgren 6.11 4 Peter Karlsson 5.51 5 6 Kyle Howarth 4.27 7 Max Clegg 3.00 15.70 left for two places so including Jacob Thorssell 6.18 would leave 9.52 for the final place and the only rider to fit in would be Jason Doyle 9.44 but it also means having a second string in a heat leader position which was the mistake this season. Maybe Zengota and Batchelor or Kylmakorpi would be better than Doyle and Wells or Thorssell but the three heat leaders have to be riders that can cope with that role
-
Very good reserve pairing for next season but apart from Wozniak surely Leicester will be looking at new faces and heat leaders now Jason Doyle has moved on.
-
He averaged 5.00 in the Premier League where as Josh Bates and Paul Starke averaged higher and I would consider those to have done better than Sarjeant did. In fact I am surprised that Bates wasn't the Tier 1 above him. That said he is a good rider and will get better but it is going to be tough for him and Wolves have a very good Tier 1 in Howarth and while I like Max Clegg I think he will also find it hard next season with some good number 7s already named. With the main body of the team at Wolves they are surely looking at a big hitting number one as the averages in 2015 means they have to get one to get upto 40.5
-
Through choice and when he moves up a good rider moves down
-
Far too many doubling up riders anyway. If a rider can average over 7 in the Premier League they should not double up and either stay in the Premier or move up. Not good when you have riders as good as Cook Kennett or Stead doubling up Tier 1 draft riders are British riders on Premier League converted averages. Each team picks one of the 12 (some protected) so Wolves would have been second pick after Leicester with I presume Worrall Garrity and Newman protected. The concern I feel is there will be a list of 24 heat leaders and each team is allowed to use three. With riders like Lindgren 6.11 and Bjerre 5.76 on the list how will some teams get close to the limit as six riders at 6 is only 36 and with a number 7 being a 3.00 and most tier 1 riders around 4-5 it means the top 5 for most teams needs to be 33-34 points which is over 6.5 each on average. If Wolverhampton bring in Lindgren 6.11 and the two new reserves 7.27 it leaves about 27 points for the last four and with one rumoured to be a under 6 and Andersson 5.50 possibly it leaves about 16 for the last two if whispers are true. Doyle would have to be signed to get close to the limit so let's hope he isn't back at Poole with Holder and Andersen

It would be great to have Friday nights again to help get more kids involved and if it means no GP riders then so be it
