After the Kildemand incident the cameras were on him in the pits and he looks into the camera and says "No contact what so ever" He watches the replay and is interviewed "Yes there was contact but he lifts his leg and goes down too easy" He straightened up bringing Kildemand down but the Doyle incident earlier to me was when Doyle had made the pass. Cardiff isn't usually his best place but you can be sure he will be in the fight till the time he can't catch Tai Woffinden.

Nicki is the master of mind games and knowledge of how others react. He will ride hard against some and over the limits at others and if he can get them rattled it works in his favour. On and off the track Nicki makes as much advantage towards himself as he can and the crowd reactions with the booing gives him the adrenaline rush others may get from the cheers and air horns.

Kasprzak was an example but surely he would in current form score more away than Thorssell and also signing a rider like him would keep Wells at number four
-
If Wolverhampton lose this match it could be the end of the season for the play offs unless changes are made pretty sharp as new averages are out on July 1st and Wolves need riders that can score away from home. Lindgren has been a shadow of the rider we know he can be while Thorssell just can't get points away while his home form is not in question. They need to keep Wells as a second string and moves to 6.40 next week. Museliak however needs one away meeting to get a new average around five and with Wells can be a good second string especially as Leszno are not using him at the moment. No Wolves rider was picked in Poland yesterday at all. The trouble is that Lindgren, Karlsson, Wells and Musielak on a new average leaves around 8 points for the last place which could point to Kasprzak or Lindback as possible new signings if they are to look at the play offs win or lose here. Wolves can win this one but won't be by much and may need a bit of luck as Coventry will be strong in every race and on current form should win by heat 14.

Heard a weird one from a rider who has been a regular Elite League rider and doubled up but at present is only doing the Premier league. He was told that if he stays out of the Elite League this year then he can start next season as a Fast Track reserve which apparently even he thought was crazy. Could we get to see the likes of Lewis Bridger or Ben Barker as FOR ?

It seems strange that even the teams that are doing well are under the points limit and are in a position to improve their team as the season unfolds and the gap between the top and bottom becomes even bigger. Coventry and Swindon are rumoured to be looking at changes with Darcy Ward possibly coming in to make them even stronger title contenders. Only dramatic changes at Wolverhampton and Lakeside would see them make something of the season and Leicester have made changes too little too late for them to make the top four. However the big problem is still the heat format and averages will continue to lower for many heat leaders and second strings hit big scores. Get back to a more consistent heat format and top teams will show up as the strongest on paper unlike they are now.
-
So many unpredictable riders in this one but home form should be enough and Lawson as a second string should give him a decent return while Wolves don't know what to expect from Thorssell Musielak and Wells. Lindgren has been poor in some meetings but at least Karlsson will be able to score well in this one and make it look respectable but Hammers to win by 10

This year before the British Grand Prix there is a meeting taking place at the Millennium Stadium featuring 16 British riders behind Closed Doors. Would it not be a good idea to hold the British Final at Cardiff on the Thursday night and then make it a three day holiday for hundreds of Speedway fans while also giving the British riders track experience for the GP. Any reason this can't happen when they are already using it for private test meetings ?

5th V 4th - Wolves V Swindon - 1/6/2015
INCOGNITO replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surprised that Meidzinski is set to return after Leszno fined him for getting injured in Britain and missing their meeting. Kildemand has come in on a short term and would not be surprised if they were to operate r/r after June 18th. Good call by Wolves and Belle Vue to postpone early on and it's a good job they were not on Sky who run the show and take away the positions of staff who know what they are doing. -
It would be very interesting to hear what Barry Hearn would do with the sport as he has bought back sports from the brink of death and Speedway in Britain at the top level is struggling to survive as it is. Get an independent review done and a panel of experts and fans to debate with the promoters at the end of the season to try and keep it alive or shut it down and concentrate on lower level racing on or off TV
-
There are some great adverts on TV each night but this is no way to advertise the sport and tracks should be able to prepare the track as needed and if riders feel it is unsafe the referee should listen

Wolves V King's Lynn Monday 18th May
INCOGNITO replied to Wolfsbane's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wet conditions didn't help and the guests did as well as the riders they were replacing but Wolves all round built team were left yet again trying to find heat winners. Five out of fifteen and it is going to be a struggle to win matches but the other difference was Steve Worrall who helped them get ahead. -
Priority Over Double Up Riders

Lewis Blackbird is a Mildenhall asset -
Think Blackbird only misses a few meetings for Wolves where as Lawson and Birks miss quite a few for Lakeside
-
Lakeside may struggle more than many think especially now Lawson will be missing a number of matches and they don't have the best reserves so I could see them near the bottom if they lose a few at home. Wolves don't look great but if Ben Barker fills the last place it could be a decent signing and if the averages of Lindgren and Musielak drop in the first half of the season you could see Woffinden or Pawlicki coming in at the run in. Swindon are not too bad but can Meidzinski get anywhere near an 8 average in this format and will Morris be able to score as a heat leader. A long with Leicester those look the four weakest but Belle Vue always seem to fall short and if they do again it could be Wolves that step up to the top four. Poole Coventry Kings Lynn and Wolverhampton in the top four with a Poole v Coventry final yet again Leicester the wooden spoon winners but Swindon not far above them.

Riders Gardening At The Tapes
INCOGNITO replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I can't see the problem with gardening at the tapes as long as they are ready when the race is due to start. The problem I see is having a rider being called to the gate and still carries on digging and then pulls back to clear his goggles or adjust his clutch lever. When all four riders are at the tapes the referee should flash the green light a few times and this means that they should be still at the tapes and ready to go. The green light is then put on and if any rider is not in position they are excluded. This would soon ensure all riders would be ready when the green light flashes and races would go out in time. The starting area should be maintained through the meeting by the start Marshall or a member of track staff so little gardening is required -
Surely if you buy back a rider you use him instead of having loan riders
-
So a rider like Max Fricke for instance can ride for Belle Vue and Torun for example but not Belle Vue and Sheffield. Surely the best way is to stop them earning money in other countries and more here where they would be liable for tax and can be tracked easily rather than let loose across Europe
-
Now this may be wrong but something that someone has indicated to me that could be a problem with the new visas. When riders get a visa to ride and live here they do so by having a sponsor (employer) that says they are backing their application. However as these riders also ride abroad this is done without any control by the sponsor and therefore could be a problem as that is not part of their deal with a visa. So any rider that has ridden here and in other leagues abroad could be the ones that will struggle to get new visas. Don't know if this is the case as it came from a conversation with someone more connected to that style of work and not speedway

Riders Gardening At The Tapes
INCOGNITO replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Here is something that could benefit everyone. Why not have a line or tape roughly three yards before the start gate. All riders must wait at this line until all four are called forward together and must get in position straight away so the referee can put the green light on. The track staff have this area to level as best as possible in between heats using the loose dirt thrown out to the kick boards. -

Meetings would take forever and as for gardening you could plant trees in 23 minutes -
Riders Gardening At The Tapes
INCOGNITO replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Riders have to be at the tapes or at least facing the tapes when the two minutes is up and under ppower If they are facing the wrong way or deemed not to be close to the tapes facing the correct way they can be excluded. Understand that Tai's antics were over the top but what Tai did was not during the two minute warning and between heats so it didn't really hold anything up. What is the problem with a rider being at the tapes early to prepare his starting position. This they can still do but must remain on the bike. The problem was riders gardening after the two minutes has expired and riders going back to the pits after a false start. -
Riders Gardening At The Tapes
INCOGNITO replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It is fine in principal but if a rider gets to the tapes and is waiting for the other three and gets of his bike to garden the start and gets back on his bike before the others have arrived he is excluded. So they return to the pits and a fresh two minutes has to be put on once the substitute has been named. -

All 20 of these riders could be missing from the 2015 Elite League if they secure GP and or SEC places which makes you realise how far this country has gone downhill in terms of power. 20 years ago riders fought hard to get in a team but now they are turning their backs on it due to the amount of travelling, race nights and costs needed to compete here rather than in leagues or events that have fixed race nights. British Speedway can't afford to get these riders back and has to be looking at a more stable and financially secure future featuring the likes of Troy Batchelor, Hans Andersen, Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris, Kenneth Bjerre, Davey Watt and Jacob Thorssell who want to race here and on a regular basis.
