  1. Read the post properly. Przemyslaw WOULD BE a good signing As for Tier 1 read it is THOUGHT plus unless things have changed one on that list has been told they could be used as a FTR despite his experience
  2. Peter Karlsson would be a good signing as he would be there as back up and not expected to score like a heat leader but on his day and at second string he can do well. Dakota North will be back at Poole as a second string and Chris Harris is likely to be at Coventry (or Wolverhampton). Being close to Stanstead is good for riders to fly in and out as PK did when there with time to spare where as with Wolves a Monday isn't a great help if riding in Poland and Sweden
  3. With Andreas Jonsson already named Kim Nilsson did an amazing job for them last season and maybe 6.98 is a high average but he scored the points and can again. Eddie Kennett obviously impressed with his doubling up and provides good support but Lakeside will need a third heat leader and maybe Batchelor or Watt could fill that role. Those four would be around 28 leaving just 12.5 for the last three which is 9.5 when you add a 3.00 number 7. Would Peter Karlsson 5.51 be a good second string for them to complete a strong top five and three Swedes. 1 Jonsson 2 Kennett 3 Nilsson 4 Karlsson 5 Watt 6 7 3.00
  4. Przemyslaw Pawlicki would be a good signing and with Jason Doyle and Fredrik Lindgren it would be a good top three and if Musielak returns it could help having two Leszno riders together. As for Tier 1 reserves there will be a list of riders to pick from and while some may be protected it is thought riders like Ben Barker Daniel King Robert Lambert and Edward Kennett could be included along with Garrity Newman Worrall and Auty so each team will have a decent reserve to start with if these are allowed to be used
  5. Zagar is unsure about riding here and I can't see why Holder would want to ride elsewhere as Poole have backed him in everything and he needs a good season again and moving wouldn't do him any favours. Davey Watt is most likely to be elsewhere with his 7+ average and if he is allowed to double up he could be a new number one at Somerset and heat leader at Leicester
  6. If he got a top 8 place it would mean he can have the number 8 next season if he wanted but remember they get paid on finishing positions so the better he finishes the better he gets paid. No one expected Holder to have a nightmare in Australia and Kildemand had already shown he is ready to do a full season and next year looks like being even tougher with Hampel Pawlicki Zmarzlik and Lindback added.
  7. Kildemand knew before Torun that he was in the 2016 Series and wasn't considering Britain next year anyway. If Swindon do get a track and get ready for next season they have Morris, Zengota and Batchelor already to pick from let alone Doyle so not having Kildemand won't be a problem and Shamek Pawlicki is also looking at Britain next season and with Zengota at Leszno could be a good thing. Just where they are going to ride a part from the Abbey or Oxford is the most worrying
  8. Kurtz and Newman may not be right so he could fit even if it is.
  9. Poole are almost certain to start with these five Chris Holder 7.47 Hans Andersen 6.45 Brady Kurtz 5.45 Dakota North 5.91 Kyle Newman 4.27 With the number 7 likely to be a 3.00 rider it leaves 7.95 for the last place. Kasprzak anyone
  10. Considering that reserves can now move up into the main body of the team it is vital that you have a second string that will be a possible match winner when they drop down and therefore a low average to start with could be the key. Who would be the best option for this position from Tobiasz Musielak, Nicolai Klindt or Stuart Robson
  11. I think Joel Andersson is going to be assessed at 5.50. May not be the number one but could Craig Cook 7.29 be set to join Wolves so he can continue with Edinburgh as Belle Vue are going to be a Friday night track next season.
  12. After a period of time away I think there is a regulation that the team that holds his registration doesn't have much of a say on where that rider goes but will still get the loan fees etc. Same with Hancock when he helped Poole or if any rider returns after a long period of time. Add to that the big sponsorship he has in that area and with Stuart Douglas and it is unlikely he would be anywhere else
  13. Just answering the post saying there is some top class riders around still and Doyle is rightly the world number 5 and could be a Coventry signing if they were in for him and he wanted a Friday track. Personally as long as they are not all classed as heat leaders Coventry I think could be Kasprzak, Harris, Kylmakorpi, King, (Robbo or someone), Garrity and a 3 point number seven.
  14. Not sure if Ricky will be classed as a heat leader or Jacob Thorssell but Freddie Lindgren and Bjerre are likely to be. So Bjerre on a sub 6 average will start at 1 3 or 5 while a rider like Lambert could be a second string with Schlein also a heat leader ? It is a bit of a concern that a list of 24 heat leaders will be made up to ensure each team has 3. However if a new 6.50 rider comes in he will be added to the list. This means one of the 24 won't get a team place and if one team decides to go with only two from the list that is another not getting a team place. When full details are released hopefully it will be more understandable but it seems to be a tough decision for some
  15. Pawlicki and Zmarzlik are not going to make up the numbers and Doyle and Janowski are getting better and better. Hampel and Dudek will push for a Poland top four also Be great if Sayfutdinov would be back but unlikely
  16. No Janowski next season and Holder will decide on his plans in the new year and is unsure about how many leagues he needs to ride in but will be back for Torun at least. Brady Kurtz is a possibility and Davey Watt going in the opposite direction giving Poole Andersen North and Kurtz as the foundation along with Newman.
  17. Joel Andersson is set to be in the Elite League and Wolverhampton is the most likely destination but what average will he come in on. Anything above 5.5 is a gamble and unless you can land a Dudek or Zmarzlik new faces may not be the best option and more trusted riders like Schlein or Barker may be better signings for consistency
  18. Some riders are quite happy doing Poland Britain and Sweden in consecutive days so it gives them a break for a few days but some would rather do Sunday Tuesday and Thursday which is a more relaxed set up. Wolves are certainly in need of a big scorer like Doyle as the assets they have are no higher than 6.18 and really you would only say Lindgren on 6.11 is worth considering as a bargain and capable of improving. They also need a good reserve and that would mean another new face unless they are confident in a reserve pairing like Bates and Morris. Kylmakorpi was nearly signed in 2015 and after a decent season he could be joining his best friend at Monmore Green as back up to someone like Doyle or even Batchelor who could be available. Be interesting to see how many GP riders are here next season.
  19. NEWS FLASH Hans Andersen has done a U turn on his two year deal with Poole Pirates after hearing of the return of the Lindback Loving S S Shovler claiming this town ain't big enough for the both of us
  20. Jacob Thorssell is more of a 7 points rider but only at Monmore Green and a 4 point rider away. However he is 22 and has vastly improved from the youngster who joined a few years ago. Barker however could be a useful signing if he is allowed to be a Tier 1 reserve as Jacob could then be a second string or even a reserve.
  21. It would have to be taken from his Premier League averages this year which ended just under six so his assessed average should be around 4 which at reserve in time would be decent. Not if he is a second string as he scores well there and if he'd did move up a good rider would be at second string so at least it covers that situation. Think Wolves will be watching the situation at Swindon very closely
  22. Why should you want three fast track riders instead of two Kasprzak and Larsen certainly want to ride in Britain again and with Harris Garrity and Robson would form a decent five with Robbo dropping to reserve with Sarjeant but who would be the missing rider with about 5 left ?
  23. No I was more thinking of Konopka or Dilger or many other riders that start on an assessed average of 5 or 7 but only get 3 and fill up the places that should be considered for British riders. All that has to be done is stop them dropping below that average but only use their real average for team building. (Stop teams replacing them with another 7.00 rider) Danish meetings are not as frequently run as Britain and Iversen doesn't do many there. So the costs of extra bikes and running costs plus mechanics would be worth travelling through the night on a Sunday to ride here then through the night to Sweden. If by being not so fresh in Poland and Sweden means two points less in both leagues he would lose more money dropping those points than he would earn here even before considering the overheads. Woffinden Pedersen Hancock Hampel Dudek Sayfutdinov Pawlicki Zmarzlik and many more don't ride here now and if it was one race night you may see these riders here but two or more race nights is not what they need for the rewards they could get by riding here As for the 2016 team and it could be a very Australian and Scandinavian look to it with Doyle Lindgren Andersson Thorssell and Klindt as the top five and a reserve that could surprise a few when announced. Not saying that is the team but may not be far off the mark
  24. It is hard to create British talent when you allow foreign riders to get a 3.00 average and take the places that should be for the National League riders looking to progress
