Everyone out here who's seen my bootleg video of Cardiff 2007 reckons its great racing M8! Were you stuck in the Pub?

Last time I looked IMG was a large international company, the largest independent sports TV producer in the world to be exact with over 2500 employees and offices in about 50 major cities world-wide. None of the "Top Boys" at BSI are the "Top Boys" at IMG. Couldn't find the name Postlethwaite on the Board of Directors either. I believe JP has been kept on as an advisor during the transition period but that's about it, m8. If any of the other sports IMG has a hand in can be used as an example then one of the things that will change for sure is the amount of dollar$ the riders will make.

Is the Ashleigh Jones MM on this year? (Bushfires, Monsoons and Cyclones permitting, of course?)(Not to mention Plagues of Frogs etc!!) Jury's still out on Leigh riding in Oz this year as well! With Joe Screen coming out, if Johnno fronts with Mark Lemon and Craig Boyce we might have a Seniors' Tour!! Noddy's lookin' good for Ozchamps 2008, M8!

Spot on Tex, and thankxx to The Know for the insights! Some NIMBYs have to be dragged into the 21st century sooner or later. The One-Off Finals were great in their era, but times have changed; we have a product that has to compete for sponsors' dollars with a whole heap of other motorsports, all of which run over a yearly format. Now the go is "The Chase" where there's a cut-off 2/3rds of the way through the season and just the top Pointsgetters can win the comp. Seems to be working OK in NASCAR and NHRA. Doubtless in a year's time people will be slagging off IMG just as they've slagged off BSI in the past; there's just no pleasing some folk.

Let's wait and see what IMG have planned for the future - as it is I'm expecting GP's in Japan, Malaysia, Oz, the Good 'Ol US of A and Dubai by 2010. Only thing holding the sport back is the parochial attitude of some folks who think their club is the be-all and end-all. The sooner Pommyland wakes up to the 21st century the better, Elite League on one or two nights a week only.

By the way after a morning trip round the Blue Lake its a pleasant afternoon doing a crawl up the main drag sinking a coupla Crownies in each Waterhole, I think there's Ten Pubs from (Blurred) Memory!

No Wuckers m8, I just don't think you've seen all the many facets of Leigh; very rarely does he knock back a request for an autograph or an interview with print, film & TV, no question is too facile for him to answer when he's being "King of the Kids", I wish some of the other Superstar riders would put as much back into the sport as he has and still continues to not just in Oz but World-wide. As far as his armchair riding style goes, some of his duels with Jason Crump in this year's OzChamps had to be seen to be believed, real "Wall-of-Death" stuff! If being a "Character" means expectorating the pacifier every time one doesn't get one's way, then trying to take out one's closest rivals during races then I'd agree Nicki's a character. I'm not one to wish bad cess on any rider but in his case I might be tempted to make an exception.

Wash Your Mouth Out! Maybe if you've done as much for Speedway world-wide as Leigh has you'd be qualified to answer, but somehow I doubt it.
