If he races in Poland as we all expect would Glasgow be willing to change race day to accommodate him? - I don't see that as a problem at Peterborough as it's never been our traditional race day - I would actually prefer if it wasn't in future regardless of who we sign and I know I am not the only Panthers fan of this opinion.

I would happily give up Sunday race meetings at home to accommodate him in our team in 2016 so he can race in Poland.

Lol. Pots and kettles spring to mind!
-
Funny that because it's exactly what I felt like saying to him on every occasion he messed us about!

Just had a look at BSPA site for his average and thankfully it's still just over SIX.

No no and NO! - did you get that?

Such a shame unlikely to be moved I think due to Simon Lambert riding for Leicester V Poole in the evening.

I agree with all you say and Kyle Bickley set up the fund - he is one of the young riders you speak of and yes they are certainly deserving of all our support. I have a few queries: think bucket collections needed at our UK tracks as I am sure there are others like me who do not use PayPal or are prepared to give out details of Credit cards etc. to these sites but wish to donate but prefer it to be cash - many speedway fans are like me "mature in years" and not so familiar with technology and modern methods of charity funding of this nature. Do Northside have insurance cover to help with any of the cost of replacement here and once done how will they secure the site against further attacks of this nature? On seeing the photographs my first thought was an air fence left out is particularly vulnerable to vandalism. I hope those that did this are caught and punished severely but it's probably unlikely.

King's Lynn V Swindon 9th Sept 19.45

Maybe Buster simply thought not worth risking a late call off with Swindon being a fair distance to travel from for their fans - still raining now where I am by the way forecasts not always exact! -
Premier League Fours?

I think that would be a good compromise with two northern and two southern tracks involved and a Saturday evening should help fans of all clubs to attend if they wish. -

Not sure where you are based or which weather site you are reading but I live on the Cambs/Norfolk border approx 30 mins from Saddlebow Road and we have had a lot of rain over last 48 hours ( still raining as I type) plus the Met Office issued a further "Warning" for this part of the country at 11.10 this morning until 18.00 today. I am not at all surprised by this call off and think it was the correct decision unless someone who lives much closer can tell me the weather there is completely different to what I am experiencing! -
Excellent signing really pleased with that. Welcome to the Panthers Anders.

Premier League Fours?

I think it would be a good idea for your club (or one of the other 3 finalists) to host it - as you say you have many dates and neutrality is not an issue for me - Panthers in the original staging on our own track but still eliminated at the semi final stage! -

I would be very surprised to see it re-staged especially at The Showground due to Panthers expected commitments in the Play Offs and the events already booked in at the EoES - something on there most weekends between now and beginning of November which is the norm! On top of that even if a club not involved in Play Offs were to volunteer to stage it finding a date when 4 clubs and their four riders plus reserves were all available would be a nightmare. -
Actually if you compare him to many his age if he were looking to go to University he will be 18 next birthday and Students have to grow up quick and learn to cope without their Mothers nannying them along as did both of mine - got no problem with his Dad mechaniching for him for now ( but Mum and girlfriend in the pits is a Big No no) and rumour has it Ollie Allen is to be his Manager from next season so that's a start. Parents should be supportive but encourage their offspring to be mature independent adults asap in my opinion - that was my method and both of mine, now qualified, work for International Law firms in London so it worked for me. Interestingly I have not read a post regarding Darcy and his Father - actually probably that's for the best! Lol!

Quite but this is no longer a serious competition more a fun day out for those involved - no qualifying rounds/knock out meetings to add weight to its importance on the PL speedway calendar! I am sure the riders will give it their "all" and therein lies the entertainment factor hopefully with the weather being fine for those that decide to attend. It's petty rules over averages/ meetings raced etc. etc. that is killing this sport!

It's Simon.

It is obvious you have not seen some of those named at the EoEs this season - yes an English rider would be the preferred option but many NL riders are just not up to standard yet - well not at the Eoes anyway - whether Konopka is remains to be seen but most Polish riders enjoy the track.

You indicated earlier in the thread there were other facts than the two above we all know about - in the absence of those I remain convinced he is not as committed to our club as he is the FIM rules and I don't like that especially when King and Manzares could have used the same rules/facts but CHOSE not to. Win or lose that match to me is immaterial because I detest riders missing meetings just because some rule says they can - I want to see 7 riders committed to the club whether prodigious youngster (of any nationality) or not. As good as he can be to watch and as successful as he maybe in the future he is not bigger than our club imho.
-
I would for one. Am as disappointed in his no show as I am the new promotions excuses - especially after the fresh start of openness and honesty at the beginning of their tenure! If they or other fans are not happy with comments on here that's tough because I don't consider that my problem. I was brought up to tell the truth no matter the consequences and I bitterly detest lying and deceit and I sincerely believe the fans deserve better.
