Peterborough Panthers 2014
maneacat replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think they will - personally I shall wait and attend P & P Day instead (weather permitting) and see the team in action on track rather than the dance floor As for KKS - has anyone checked the Poole thread to see if he's posting on there - have a feeling PL is not for him/her -

Sorry Neil but to me that info on that website is as clear as mud! May I rephrase my question please? Who is Lewis Blackbird being loaned from by Panthers for the 2014 season? Many thanks. -

I have been trying to discover who Lewis is an asset of - if anyone knows that would be great. -

I will be only too pleased to get away from home and the footie on the TV that day - suspect I will have had a gut full of it by then - and don't think I will be the only one! -

I make that Sheffield (PL) and Birmingham (EL) for Dak this season (beginning of anyway) or no Uk racing until team changes happen. -
Don't think you need worry about Hall - rumoured to be heading Peterborough way although I am hoping its not true.

The price, number of meetings AND change of race night means it makes sense for me to purchase a Season Ticket - first time for several years that I have decided to do so. -

According to the Glasgow thread on this forum some of their fans would like him back there so must have shown something last season. -

I'll go with a new assessed 7 pointer in that case. -

If Dakota is going to ride in the Pl there are now only Glasgow(rode end of last season) and Sheffield apart from us who can fit him in. I am sure I read somewhere he had signed for a Polish Club and that may mean fixture clashes for Prem sides who may not be keen to sign him. Havnt seen him sign for any EL club yet either whereas he only rode at EL level at the start of last season. If one of our remaining places does not go to him I am at a loss to think who else is being considered. Please discuss. -

Is anyone out there missing the Studio chats used in previous Sky Sports broadcasts? Me - no much better without them - only realised at the finish last night Eurosport have filled the time with something else ie. Pit interviews etc. and it all feels like it flows much better. -
Sounds like that to me also. There are many agencies providing casual labour in East Anglia and I know from experience that you only have to call the previous day to request the number of people required. There is a solution to the problem it just needs persistence and determination from the promotion.

New Swc Format Needed?
maneacat replied to Rob B's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think they should rename it The World 4-Team Tournament - I would like to see larger teams. We and other european nations do not race team speedway based on four men teams and it has always puzzled me why "The World Cup" does!!! -

Try a Toy Shop assuming you want it for a child - because that's all they are - a cheap plastic child's toy -

Thankfully the stewards only had high spirits to deal with - any real trouble and who knows what may have happened. 3/4 dog handlers and their companions would have certainly made dealing with the situation a lot easier (and quicker so the fireworks could start). -

Will it definitely be Olsen and his cronies preparing the track - have been trying to find out about this before deciding whether to buy tickets or not - do you know for certain? If that is the case not only will it be a bad advert for Peterborough speedway you can forget practice sessions and set-ups cos they will be as much use as a chocolate tea-pot -

Well we agree on everyone apart from Kennett and Woffy - just dont rate Eddie round the showground - look at his last visit (2 pts) I am certain Lewis can do much better. King had a good meeting this season at the showground but believe he will be out of his depth in this one. Woffy at No. 5 for me but only if none of the others I mentioned prove their selves over the next few weeks in club visits - and the same applies to him. If he has a bad meeting when Wolves visit then out he goes.
