Douglas is in his prime and King has peaked
Does his average need to be adjusted to remove Eastbourne scores?
1) C.cook 8.69
2) Ostergaard 7.82
3) Tom Brennan 6.03
4) Ben Basso 5.00
5) Broc Nicol 5.50
6) Danyon Hume 4.88
7) Connor Bailey 4.17
total 42.09
There must be a mistake in the above averages if this is the team.
It that rule?
I think the concern is, if a team is supported at another track, it could count against them if they were trying to get planning permission for their own track, i.e is there a need for a new track.
An exception could be made here because Birmingham could be lost and Cradley exhausted all their options in a search for a new home.
Why don't Birmingham and Cradley both run national league teams and track share. NL wages are less so less crowd needed and the financial burden/risk will be split between two promotions.
Home form should be good but not away. I can't see any riders with potential to put points on his average, its a big ask for Palin to keep putting points on his 5.69 average.
would the national league be more viable? Less wages and 99% of crowd would still turn up. There could be an extra competition/mini league for those national league teams that want more fixtures.
