  1. I am not sure what to make of the Leicester win now Plymouth beat them 30 points. Birmingham have got 4 former Scunny riders, this could be a lot closer than some think.
  2. Dave Rowe would be the obvious choice, they should make more use out of Chris Louis and Jason Crump, as they gave good insight.
  3. Allen's form has been poor, keeps getting overtaken. Not sure he has got the speed in the bike he once had. 17degrees tomorrow so can expect a slick dusty track, unfortunately all the Leicester riders are decent around Scunny so they may well win this.
  4. Not ideal having the strongest team at the EWR first, it would have been better to have an easier team to get some laps in.
  5. Add Peterborough to that list, he's good on the tracks that you don't have to turn the bike too hard. Championship heat leader in your 3rd season racing is a hell of an ask but I am sure with more experience he will master the tighter tracks.
  6. Polish fans don't seem to care much about these pairs/riders championship competitions. These sort of line up would get a far bigger crowd in the UK.
  7. I expected more from Zaine Kennedy returning to Leicester. Jake's not started the season well, I didn't expect much from the others at Leicester.
  8. I think Scunny might keep it within 20points. Douglas will take 6 rides, Kennedy will get 6 or 7 rides.
  9. I would agree as long as Poole can get Drew Kemp to fulfil his potential, i.e sort out his equipment/head. If Drew doesn't progress Poole will struggle to win the league with two poor reserves.
  10. I think Brummie fans might need to lower their expectations of Auty, his 7 point average is inflated by his exceptional Scunny form, realistically he's a 6point man. Don't forget when Scunny got rid of him last season he was a bit down on speed and its hard to test equipment in practice. In all the time he rode for Scunny there was never any lack of effort or entertainment from him.
  11. Glasgow Poole Leicester Redcar Scunthorpe Plymouth Berwick Edinburgh Oxford Birmingham Newcastle I think some people are overestimating Oxford and Berwick and underestimating Scunthorpe and Plymouth.
  12. According to speedway star admission has gone up £18 and £1 for a programme.
  13. What has he done? Is the back straight open for viewing? I thought I read somewhere it was.
  14. So Laguta has lost his Russian Licence for being critical of Putin's war and yet the west still won't let him ride under another flag. Surely if Laguta is in the spotlight being openly critical of the war it will do more damage to Putin's regime than having him sat at home in Bydgoszcz.
  15. There seems to be plenty of sports that are letting Russians compete under a neutral flag.
  16. I hope your right but Zmarzlik finished 60points in front of his next rival and his beloved Gorzow is back on the calendar.
  17. 4 out the 10 GPs in Poland and his 2 main rivals out the running Zmarzlik will have one hand on the trophy. Series has gone flat before its started.
  18. There is some suggestion they could maybe apply for a Hungarian licence.
  19. I largely agree but I don't think Russian Oligarchs care about whether Russian athletes compete or not, they just care about their own finances.
  20. I think this comes down to how the Russian people perceive this action of banning everything Russian, will they see it as Putin's regime being unacceptable or will they see it as the West picking on the average Russian.
