  1. Not many people mentioning Lunna, I still think he's a real talent just needs to work on the mechanical side of things.
  2. With the second leg of premier league final on Saturday how is that going to work? Start without Edinburgh and Glasgow or do it all on Sunday.
  3. whats Joonas Kylmakorpi's injury? will he be back if bees make it to the final.
  4. how have the crowds been this year at Birmingham? any intention to move up to the premier league?
  5. few questions to Eastbourne fans...... how are the crowds holding up? are there any intentions to move up to the premier league?
  6. I thought Sayfutdinov had already said no, out the others I would go martin vaculik.
  7. Have they bought track covers? What are the track use restrictions?
  8. I think the ref called heat 6 wrong, I think Newman won that. Thought Holder's move on Davis was a very hard but refs rarely exclude riders if they don't go down. Not sure what was going on with Holder and Compton. A nice way to finish a tough year I hope Rob and the promotion are back next year. It will be interesting to see what Rob wants from the AGM.
  9. It depends what the document actually says, if it declares he is fit to race today or tomorrow.
  10. If Theo has a sicknote and says hes not riding due to injury, what do you expect the Scunthorpe promotion to do....make him ride. When riders pick up a knock they often prioritise which clubs/meetings they ride in, it happens all the time in speedway.
  11. My guess at next years line up... Tai Nicki Greg zagar N.K.I Holder doyle M.J.J magic Zmarzlik Harris pawlicki P.Kildemand A.Lindback j.hampel
  12. I agree, they can't start in a deep rut but there is always room to start from a different part of the track.
  13. The riders want the best possible start and so position the wheel at the back of the rut. I have never ridden a speedway bike, but I doubt its impossible to be right at the tapes.
  14. I agree the start marshaIs often don't start the riders within the 75mm but I don't think riders roll back much, if the rule was 40mm I think they would have to start closer to the tapes. There is nothing to lose by changing the rule. No it wouldn't stop a perfectly anticipated start like Sarjeant's last night, but I think Sarjeant would hit the tapes far more often if he had to start closer to the tapes, this may cause him to adjust his starting behaviour.
  15. Why not just make riders start closer to the tapes then those riders who are anticipating the start will be hitting the tapes far more often.
  16. It might help if the BBC gave speedway its own section on the website instead of being lumped under motorsport, Shooting and Taekwondo get their own section.
  17. How many meetings does he need to complete to get a new average, I thought it was 4 home and away.
  18. An unknown Swede or Dane might be a good idea if they have time to get an average.
  19. When driving your car the punishment for death by dangerous driving is likely to be far greater than dangerous driving. The point being, the consequences of a dangerous move has a bearing on the punishment. If Tungate managed to spray him with shale he gets off with no punishment, however his dangerous move went wrong and the punishment should be more severe than £200.
