  1. Team GB could qualify on Monday, but do you honestly think we would if the meeting was in Sweden/Denmark,home soil allways gives an advantage,i'm not advocating the Joker rule i dont like and never will, but the only way to find out who are the best team, is for nuetral tracks/country's to be used, and as i said earlier that will not happen because of the gate reciepts
  2. Do you think that all the TV audiance are as knowledgable as yourself,
  3. I take your point but if we do go down that road, then we also have to eliminate home advantage, last nights meeting should of been in a nuetral country,as does Monday's and that will have some impact on the gate reciepts.
  4. IMO its six of one and half a dozen of the other,if you are winning and lose out due to the Joker,it stinks, but without it we would'nt of had the exciting finish we had tonight.Maybe change it to,only a programmed rider can be used.
  5. I kinda agree with SS that N Pedersen is the man to beat, but only a fool would discount any of the other big hitters after only 1 round. Jason and Leigh both had rounds they would prefer to forget, but to make the semi's on a bad night is not to bad.
  6. Clever you.i just turned the tv on and hey presto, there it was.
  7. I know this is the wrong place for this request but this computor lark is really doing my head in,i want to print of a copy of tonights racecard,i dont know how to download or where to find this racecard, can anyone help before i have a heart attack.
  8. 1 N Pedersen.....i did originally go for Crumpy, but not after Sunday's result. 2 J Crump..... but only if he can get his gating back to where it was in 2006 3 A Jonsson... If he stays injury free. 4 L Adams.... Would love L Adams to do it,but i think its to late. 5 H Andersen... he has the talent, but not the staying power. 6 S Nichols....i think the move from Coventry will help him. 7 T Gollob....Could be his last year in the top 8. 8 B Pedersen....Its time Bjarne moved up a notch in the GP's 9 R Holta...... Fast when he is out front. 10 G Hancock.....He's past his best. 11 k kazprzak....Relies to much on gating 12 F Lindgren.....He's young and will get better. 13 N K Iverssen..Again the odd gate will save him from being bottom 14 C Harris.....Would love to put him higher, but he needs to gate more consistantly. 15 L Dyrml......Lucky to be in the GP'S.
  9. I'v said it earlier on this thread and i'll say it again,IMHO what we saw on Saturday was 2 guys battleing for 1 last place on a track where the only place you could pass was up the inside,Scotty did hit Bomber, but i dont think he did it intentionally,if Scotty just followed home Bomber, then what was the point of racing,so IMHO hard racing YES,dirty NO. The Ref was a disgrace all night,i lost count of the number of rolling starts that should of been restarted. So technically the Ref was not doing his job properly,so he is also to blame. So to wrap all this up lets just hope that Nichol's and A N Other are not in a last heat decider for the WTC,after all,we would'nt want Scotty to try to hard, would we
  10. Everything was in place to make the 100th GP with all that dosh one to remember,....................................................................... ..............................................? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ..Total crap,i'd rather forget it. Make Cardiff next year the final GP.
  11. Speedway is a tough sport and any rider not prepared to rough it out will normally lose out,Scotty was tough on Bomber but NOT dirty(as some on here will have us believe) and if the Ref was doing his JOB properly,he would of excluded Scotty for unfair riding(not dirty),the man therefore to blame is the Ref.
  12. One off World Championship matches IMO were/are better because you had all the atmousphere for 1 match only and nobody knew who the winner would be untill, in most cases the winners last ride.
  13. Well done N Pedersen,a truely remarkable season from a truely remarkable rider.
  14. N Pedersen is having a V Good GP,but last night reminded me how two faced he is,in Malilia he(N Pedersen)threw his toys out of his pram when H Andersen rode him out to the fence, even though Hans did leave him JUST enough room. Last night he (N Pedersen) took L Adams out in the exact spot but left L Adams NO ROOM,Leigh delt with the matter on the track.
  15. So is he or is,nt he.lets look at the evidence,7 attemps no successes, including 3 on home soil (could you imagine for one moment the Poles, Danes or Swedes not winning in there own back yard). No TM could make the current crop of GB riders win the WTC,but to turn up as badly prepared as we were, well the TM has to take the blame there. Our riders were being beaten by riders who they ride against week in week out,but last night those same riders turned up with properly tuned bikes, did we?S Stead and E Kennett are not World Beaters but niether are K Bjerre,or puk but they had better/faster bikes. So who,s fault is it,well i,m sorry but after 7 years the buck has to stop at the manager. As to who should replace him, well thats up to the BSPA,but whoever it is he needs to have a good machanic who can make our bikes as fast as the others.
  16. Probably like the lottery, use different weighted balls
  17. I think its something to do with the gate positions later in the meeting.
  18. N P and H A can hold there own in any company the other 3 although good riders do rely on gating so if the track is grippy with different racing lines those 3 are likely to let Denmark down against the Aussies and Poland in there own back yard. Again if the track is grippy we (GB) wont win IMHO but we will be spoilers especially against the Danes 3 weaker riders
  19. Deffo good meeting was this, take note Olsen, leave the bl**dy track prep to people who can do it.
  20. The only way Denmark will win,is if they play there 6th rider,Stand up "I want it slick so the best gaters (denmark) will win each race whilst the other proper speedway riders struggle to find grip" OLE OLSEN. On a slick track, sorry boring track. 1 Denmark 2 Poland. 3 Australia 4 G B On a track prepared like Thursday,s 1 Australia 2 Poland 3 Denmark 4 G B
  21. British form says Poland and Australia, but do we know what the Ruskies are like in Poland?,maybe they will like the big open racetracks of Poland?,Sweden are suffering injury wise this year(its normaly us Brits)so i dont see them doing anything except making up the numbers. Lets just hope that Mr Olsen misses his plane so we can at least get a decent race track
  22. The two so called weak links did us proud, now if the whole team can up there performance just 1 tiny notch then who knows?.We may have the WTC after all
  23. Nice to see the GB team manager taking the time and trouble to thank the fans via our website,i wonder how many other sporting managers would do that ?. Still wont change my mind about the future though.
