Smederna has a budget that is counted on 2100 paying spectators to make it all go round and to clear of some debts. I can only speak for Smederna and their attendance. I think people are not aware of how good Smederna 2007 is and there are so many lazy peoples that seems just to go then Smederna is at the top of the league. Smederna is followed by a troup of hardcore fans in excess of 2000 - 3000 peoples at home. Eskilstunas Municipal isnt keen on Speedway and are not always aware of that Smederna has raced since the late 1940's and got a rich history and they are not understanding how much free publicity the Eskilstuna Municipal is getting through Smederna and of course the GP! In the papers here in Eskilstuna all events that are due to happen here this year Speedway wasnt mentioned nor Smederna or the GP, Boule was the high profile that Eskilstuna are adveritising which is a complete JOKE! I think that in every municipal so are the men in coustoms the ones who are callling the shots and that means ( Fotball, Golf, track and field events are the ones who get ALL Exposure and if someone differs they are giving him or her a some sort of bonus to be silent).. There are many asslicking toungs out there and the Speedwaypeople dosent have any powerful men / woman in significance political roles. Anyway it is important for the eliteclubs to have good standard on their tracks which briefly means( roof over the track - Målilla are gonna build one), good seats with shelther and heated sitplaces, good food - resturants, good roads to the track and from, intresting exhibition - s in the interval, fresh toilets. / Mikael

Yes Nikolai took a purler yesterday in Eskilstuna in his second outing. He made a ligtening start but in the middle of the bend the bike lifted and Nikolai couldnt get it down in time [ I dont know if he was unable to do that beacuse he may still not be 100% fit] Nikolai landed on the same shoulder as he had done at Sheffield. Nikolai says he will now rest til next weekend may 12 where he is due to compete in the qualifier for the Junior World final at Örebro in Sweden.

A very good tv match on Polsat Sport today.. Very nice to see Wlokinarz get well beaten up by the lively Unibax Torun team. Kostek was a very happy man after beating Mr Greg Hancock in heat 15. Matty Zagar started awful for Unibax Torun and had two eggs in his first two outings and then he switched bikes and Zagar was in it again. Flyin Ryan was doing very well on his former hometrack in Cheszthochwa.

Mateusz are you 100% shure about Peter Ljung? That he broke his leg? Devasting news for Peter if it is so. This was not a very good match on tv, just a few moments that was good, then AJ splitted the Gollob brothers team riding, and then Jedrejewski took the victory.. I think Mariusz Staszewskis place is hanging loose as Emil Sajfutdinov is on his way back. Was it just me that thought it was a sparse crowd in Tarnow? / Mikael

Its is just a bloody mess with Kaparna. They cant get into Arendal their stadium as building company NCC has looked them out.. Even Rander admitted today that the fight to race at Arendal is lost. Their only hope is to race at other tracks. SVEMO ( the swedish motor federation) has allowed Kaparna to race some meetings at Linköping ( the former gp track), Mariestad, Karlstad and Malmö. We just have to wait and see what will happens....

And remember that Emil Sajfutdinov wasnt in the team today, I hope he will be back next sunday for Polonia Bydgoszcz! I was very impressed with Buszcowski today. Polonia Bydgoszcz will surprise a few teams thats for sure! What a lovely sight then AJ slowed down Okoniewski and hugged him and they started to jump around lucky as few after heat 15.

Todays televised match from Bygdoszcz between Polonia Bygdoszcz - Chestchowa was a real cracker. The guests Chestochowa was really on the gas in the begining and was ahead with 6 points at a stage in the match. The Polonia Bygdoszcz woke up in the later part of the match and fought back the 6 points and won by 6 points after really good rides from Busczcowski, Sczepaniak, Okoniewski and AJ.
