  1. Got it working on http://www.drhtv.com.pl/transmisja-3588.html
  2. Thanks Alan, not working for me as says channel has been removed for copyright reason
  3. Now that the date for the British GP has been confirmed can does anyone know when the dates for the other rounds are usually confirmed? I thought that it was normally October/November? Just wondering so that I can start looking at flights/hotels as been cheaper recently to do a foreign GP rather than travel to and stay over in Cardiff
  4. Saw the Golden Helmet match race in my first ever meeting. Was in August 1981 Halifax v Hull with a the Golden Helmet between Kenny Carter and Gordon Kennet, KC won 2-0 and I think that was the first time he held it and then saw him beat quite a few riders over the next few seasons to retain or regain it, camn only ever remember seeing KC loose it once at the Shay and that was against Michael Lee in 1983 a feww weeks before the Norden World Final, Mike the Bike was flying that night
  5. Another SGP yawnfest. Tony Olsson has morphed into Ole Olsen with the dodgy track prep
  6. Went to practice yesterday, track looked smooth but slick could be a 'he who gates wins' meeting. Greg Hancock, Emil Sayfutdinov, Freddie Lindgren looked the fastest of the guys. THJ didn't come out in his last two rounds of practice but I did notice in the pits beforehand that one of his bikes was misfiring. Bomber was trying all the lines whereas a the majority were keeping it tight on turn 4. Weather is sunny here at the moment so fingers crossed for some action later at Ullevi
  7. The weather is hopefully decent for saturday in Gothenburg sat in Manchester T3 on a lovely Friday morning and looking forward to see some speedway this weekend
  8. Most of the weather websites now seem to be showing rain Friday afternoon but dry on Saturday. Really looking forward to my first overseas GP and hope that my flight from Manchester in the morning is nice and smooth!!
  9. Looking forward to my first visit to Gothenburg, very good Wildcard to add to an excellent SGP field
  10. Glad to see Emil back and on the pace. Looking forward to going to Gothenburg in 2 weeks now to see my first GP of the year
  11. Thanks for the info guys re the hotels, it's much appreciated, just got to wait until payday so I can pay for this and book my seat as well For anyone interested going to this GP there are still flights from Manchester to Landvetter (Gothenburg city centre approx 20k away) with Easyjet for £56 return, or £51 if you have an Electron card
  12. Has anyone who is planning to go to the Swedish GP in Gothenburg got any tips on which hotels to use? I've managed to find a flight leaving Manchester on Friday morning and returning Sunday evening for £56 and providing I can sort a semi decent hotel I will pull my finger out and book and attend my first non British GP Thanks in advance
  13. Atmosphere sounds amazing, you'd never hear chanting like that at an British meeting!!
  14. Looks like Gollob managed to not loose too many screws from up top with that absolute stupid move on bend 3 with Emil. Hope that Emil is OK and back racing soon, would rather watch exciting riders like him (nevermind the references to chasing back wheels yawn!)than riders who gate and win, don't gate and finish at the back
