Edinburgh Vs Glasgow 24/06/16

It's all very well being in Glasgow and saying it's fine, but the showers are very localised, it was absolutely pouring down at my work (easily enough for a rain off) between 4.30-5.00, when I got home, less than 2 miles away from my work it was bone dry. -
I agree, nothing at all against Davey, and he would potentially be one of the better 3 pointers, but while I don't agree with the rule this is not the type of rider that should qualify.
-
Lakeside is 252 meters, Armadale is 278 meters so you're talking garbage there I'm afraid.
-
I'm not worried no, I believe there is plenty of improvement in Riss and Clegg in particular, and at the end of the day if we don't win anything so be it, it's not the be all and end all for me to be honest.
-
Ok then, if Cook had stayed then you probably have to lose Sam, and therefore likely also end up with a 4 point rider in your top 5, the point you seem to be missing is that after a successful season Edinburgh were well over the limit, so to get back under it's pretty obvious you are going to have be to and will look a weaker team than what finished last season. As for Sam not scoring what Craig did, he managed to for most of the first half of last season, so that doesn't concern me, I also think Fisher being back in an environment he enjoys can quite easily match what Wölbert did last season. I'm personally happy with our team so far, yes we'll miss Cookie and Sedgy but life goes on.
-
I love how you are so concerned about how Edinburgh are going to do without Cook, you're absolutely obsessed, go and find something else to worry about.
-
Luunas not a reserve though, I'm not afraid to say it's a decent looking team, not jealous though.
-
Very long tail for me, it's all very good having a strong top 4 but you need that 5th rider that will consistently get you 5,6 and 7s and get the occasional double figure score, like Edinburgh had with Riss last season, that being said Luuna and Garcia on better equipment which they will inevitably get might have some improvement in them.

I don't really get the Grajczonek to Edinburgh rumours, is there any reason for him to be leaving Somerset? And he's been inconsistent at best round Armadale over the years. That said I would be reasonably pleased if he did come, especially if Sam does comes back also would be happy with that as a top two.

Laughing at your own jokes. 🙈😏
-
I think Erik and Max could easily add 1.5 points to their averages next season, not overly deluded.
-
I'm sure there are plenty like yourself that are hoping that's the case, just worry about your own team first.
-
Stevie Worralls already signed for Newcastle. 😉
-
Throughout the season Sedgy was always going on that he wasn't busy enough, it seems a bit strange that he is being tipped to go Elite league full time therefore less meetings.
-
How do you come to the conclusion that Edinburgh tried "buy" League titles the last couple of seasons?

What's with all the......... In your posts? Have you not heard of a, ?

I'm guessing the 9 track records is including the 3 or 4 times he's lowered the Edinburgh one this year. -
Debatable as to wether Edinburgh took their foot off the gas or not, my theory would more likely be that the Glasgow riders were put under to much pressure by the management because they wanted it so badly, talks of extra incentives to win and so on, once heat 8 was done and the tie was over the Glasgow riders rode far better with the pressure off, when Sam was interviewed on Friday he said the team were just treating it like any other meeting, maybe that's something Glasgow will learn from.

As an Edinburgh fan, I think Cookies had that exclusion coming for a while, 3 times before that race he was still having his clutch adjusted with about 30 seconds to go, so to then come round and get off the bike and start gardening, with it being the third restart and particularly McGregor being the ref I wasn't surprised at all he got excluded. If he wants to garden as much as he does he should be round faster.

I bet Nickis sponsors love it, he easily gets the most coverage in the pits and stuff.

Despite the score line and the late arrivals, there was some decent races tonight, very impressed with Jack Holder on his first Armadale appearance looks a fine prospect 👌🏻 You can't really help what happened with some riders getting stuck in traffic just one these unfortunate things.
