Im a fan of Greg the person, not so much the rider. However I do think after missing only 1 GP in all & being the 2016 WC, it'd be mighty harsh to bin him after just one season not qualifying. As previously said, we all wrote him off when he turned 40, 3 world titles since then. Not saying I dont get peoples arguments about him being at the back end of his career, but for him not to get at least ONE wild card would be bloody unfair!

As opposed to just 32 who were in Poznan watching the U21's!
-
Boring to you. Listening to the reception, enjoyable to many.
-
Makes no sense because you dont want it to. As I said two different scenarios. World Games was at Tai's home track. No point in me explaining it all again for the fourth time tho. I'll just respectfully agree to disagree.
-
Sounded like he got a good reception through the surround sound… Pearson commented that he was happy Tai got a decent reception - As many of us were under the impression that might not be the case. Reading on here/Twitter etc there was a thought he was gonna get roundly boo'd. Obviously that was not the case.

luckily you don't buy soap so you save money there
-
	nailed it SCB
-
maybe but plenty of people went who I've spoken to that loved it & said it was a good crowd. I also think seeing multiple panoramic views I can see it was a decent enough crowd
-
According to your 'Steward Source.' Between reading your obvious disdain for the event & looking at the crowd I'll decline to believe you

It is my opinion that this is an apples and Oranges situation. World Games at Wroclaw is a one off. Tai should be there, Cookie Lambert Worrall should be riding with or at the very least in the pits with him. There would be huge benefit to all and possible success as well. As it stands we'll just get a tonking but "learn from the experience" even tho we haven't learnt anything from about the last 10 foreign tournaments...
-
He said this would be my choice. Hardly a demand. And the Experience they will get will be finishing way behind first place yet again. How can you not want Woffinden to be there with his experience and input. Insanity.

Nice draw for both Brits, inside gates on their opening two heats. Come on lads!
-
Im not sure if youre being sarcastic or not but if Ive not explained it well apologies

Such a shame. Team had a good following, its a nice little stadium now, track COULD be one of the best in the country too.

Like watching Holder the rider. Exciting style, very dynamic and Brave. He another whinging Aussie but he's been a loyal servant to British Speedway, that cant really be denied. I dont know the full story behind last week but what I do know is that they have been moaning about the KL track for a while & even Rob Lambert is complaining about the state of it. Its all well and good Buster and others on here saying it was ride able, but they arent the ones who risk injury or worse are they. Not saying Holder is totally innocent but maybe he'd just reached breaking point. Whats more worrying for me is that a track that was one of mine - and many others favorites has been allowed to get so bad. Added to that its the track of the BSPA Chairman. Surely thats more worrying than anything else?!

HE was pretty dam good. Id say it was the mental side of it that let him down more than the fitness side at GP/World cup level. The likes of Greg, Nicki, Tai work just as hard on that side of it.

2015 he realized it was a sht show. He made up his mind it was a sht show but rode in 2016 as it was at home, GB were seeded straight to the final, there was nothing to do with the qualifiers or politics involved with BSPA/Team GB. After that he spoke about how Team GB should approach things in the future. BSPA said no dice, hence he said he was done with team GB. With regards to the world games, as Phil Rising said earlier, Rosco's involvement would have been minimal and Woffinden rides for Wroclaw, who desperately wanted him there. It's not rocket science. I'm not being awkward, just trying to explain the reasoning behind it all. Fair enough you probably still disagree with me.

Or we could try and restore some pride after getting walloped in the SWC!
-
I think I answered those both before. Its not black and white. Inconsistent as it is, its not that hard to see why he did 2016 world cup on home soil and why he assumed he'd be picked for GB team on his home track.

Speedway World Cup 2017RPNY replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Ah cool, thank you for that heads up!

Speedway World Cup 2017RPNY replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Shame. He's such a good rider to watch. Still amazed his brother didnt ride in the SWC, what was that about? Cant be lack of form he just won the SEC Round #2
-
I agree he cant just get what he wants, however, he rode in the final last year as it was one meeting at home & no qualifiers. He wanted to ride in World Games as it is his home track. He, like many assumed it was a no brainer that he'd be asked to ride on his home track. There was no begging involved. No real holes in his story at all.
-
Because they were seeded to the final and it was in the UK. Did it to do the right thing by team & fans. Wanted changes after that, still nothing hence his "Im not being mugged off no more" tweet shortly after.
-
Not being a d1ck but do you mean he was so good diet meant nothing or the accident came about because of poor diet/fitness?
