Sandhu was still the leaseholder until Jan 1st , when Horton was set to take over , he couldn't sign the lease before then and it was 3rd of Jan actually , because the 3rd was the signing day .not too difficult

So Sandhu didnt buy brandon for 500,000 and sell it for £2,7 million for his own gain . sorry but I always thought he did , and selling out peoples sports teams for your own gain is not taking 50 pieces of silver ? . silly me

In my dreams . someone has bought the place and done a deal with Brisca for F1 stock cars to continue alongside speedway , without any involvement of Coventry Stox or Sandhu , and Sandhu's game of stealing the fixtures and fittings ,sees him wind up in prison

I really cant see what it is you think Horton has done . when the doors were due to close after the 3 years Sandhu was happy to take his 50 gold pieces and disappear , and by the way what happened to all his promises of a new home for the Bees ,,Nothing because he never had any intention of finding anywhere .. who worked with the council residents developers and MP to get another 3 year stay of execution ? if you would sign a lease on a stadium that has been vandalised and had fixtures and fittings removed that would cost a fortune , then you are a bigger fool than your postings make you appear I think Buster has done the sort of job as frontman of the BSPA that has been lacking for years , how many times have we heard of clubs in trouble and cried out for the Bspa to get involved , maybe if we had a chairman like buster long ago , some of the clubs that have been lost forever would still be going now

Why are you blaming Horton ? Have you found out he took the lights and seats out ? . have you found out he is a director of SSD homes ?. have you found out he vandalised the stadium ?, have you found out he sold it to developers ?, have you found out he Pulled out of the stock car deal , Sandhu absolute saint , takes on a risky 3 year lease , builds a team for next year all systems go for 2017 and beyond ......... errr not .

In the 60's I lived on the main road between Leicester and Cov , there was a chippy at the bottom of our street , when i couldn't get to home meetings , i used to stand outside the chippy at about 10 oclock , and wait for someone with a bees sticker (or leicester ) to stop for chips , and get the result off them . Ah the good old days when speedway was big enough to do that ,, even had the option of going to the bus station and waiting for the speedway special to come in

Whatever .is your perception of the exit of the Ochiltrees your'e welcome to . mine is based on reading Sandhu's own words that he drove them out .so that he had a clear run to build on the place ,which he thought at the time would be a walk in the park , he even admits in the same article ,that having bought the place for housing and having been frustrated by the difficulties of getting planning ( some of which were put in place by Charles O himself ), he had no choice other than to try and make a go of it as a sports stadium .

Right so Sandhu exhausts all legitimate ways to build on the stadium , and runs into problems with protests which have the backing of the council and MPs and more importantly the local residents , whats his next move , remove all the fixtures he claims he owns and vandalise the stadium as the new leaseholder is about to sign , New leaseholder wont sign (would you ? ) to take on a stadium not fit for purpose , Starting to look a bit Cradleyesque here isn't it ?,still needs to look squeaky clean if he's gonna have a half a chance to gain planning , Oh not me residents ,fans ,councillors , MP,s it was all beyond my control is what he wants to portray , escalate the confusion by calling the Police on himself .( you call them you can call them off ) clocks ticking towards another season , eventually everyone trying to continue use of the stadium for it's intended purpose gives up . Sandhu looks squeaky clean ,Mick Horton looks like the bad man . Then Sandhu leaves the gates open for the gyppos to move in , and some petrol and matches lying around ,Now we are looking at Long Eaton , and the residents council and MPs all agree that rather than the eyesore Sandhu has created housing would be better . game over

And you need to realise without Sandhu . Coventry speedway would have continued to run under Ochiltrees . they didn't want to leave in the first place and only let the lying thief in because they thought he was genuinely interested in speedway and would invest , he made no secret about driving them out and also revealed his true intention was to build on the stadium ,

I think Hemsley did that years back , Bamboozled them with promises of cycle tracks football pitches etc . he cant be blamed for the failure of the cycle track and to materialise though, as he himself was misled by cycling GB ,and soccer 5s Or was he ? did they ever intend to become part of the project or were they just a carrot for the council and never a certainty ,I don't imagine the council would have gone for a speedway only project so it served a purpose, either way . Leicesters future looks a whole lot brighter than their nearest neighbours ,not least because they don't have a money grabbing ,lying ,cheating ,property developer undermining their chances for the future

As I have previously said .Hemsley brought nothing back ,everything was signed and sealed BEFORE he was involved , Sam Ermolenko was in place as the project manager long before Hemsley arrived , and was the first casualty of the ego , he's been around a fair old while , But I suppose 7.6 from 50 is not too much of an expectation to achieve , the field in this years Aussie champs is actually pretty weak ,so not really a good indicator as to expected form .
