I think Bacon will be a victim of others under achieving, which potentially is a big mistake, on the couple of occasions I have seen him recently he looks to have good equipment, a steady style and most importantly a far better rider than at beginning of the season. He is on the up and if he does get the chop (thank ruff Diamond), some other team is going to reap the rewards and get an uncut gem which may just sparkle!! Might literally turn into a full Diamond!

Bacon has impressed me on the couple of occasions he has ridden for redcar and he is going well again - I can see him getting fixed up very quickly when the legendary Rathbone axe falls!!

I can't comment on the past instances, but would hope in this case Richard was asked/given the opportunity to ride on Thursday and if he didn't feel like it could have said no - as he has agreed you would expect him to be professional and give 100% Quite often changes have to be made with averages deadlines approaching and the incoming riders can't make the next meeting, it is another querk of the sport!
