  1. They're all past it. It's a No.1 which is needed; but Tolley reckons he is going to announce it soon.
  2. Dean, have you still got that GM engine I sold you a few years ago? You said that you were going to convert it to upright.
  3. It's just a hobby horse which the usual suspects like to ride, as with the team manager.
  4. We did have Zmarzlik once, but the promoter didn't pay him ...
  5. Can we hope that you will not be attending this forum also?
  6. No-one has mentioned Chris Morton, who deliberately crashed into Alan Grahame, breaking his thighbone and finishing his top-line career.
  7. In reality, the crowds were very much better this year than for a long time.
  8. Just how useful is 'set up' anyway, at least to lower-level riders? Andrew Silver told us that in his day, he used to change only the sprocket in a match!
  9. Just watched the match for free on the stream ... could fast forward the bimbo and the adverts!
  10. As for Eurosport, I have discovered that the programmes turn up on the stream the next day, so you can watch them for free!
  11. Someone on this forum was retailing a rumour that he had made a verbal agreement to return to the Brummies next year (verbal agreements are notoriously not worth the paper they are written on, but it was probably verbal because it was not totally confirmed that Perry Barr will be available); but I really hope that this is true. He was riding for Ipswich because they had a couple of extra matches in the play-offs.
  12. Wot a load of horlicks ... You've forgotten Brennan and Lampart, who will almost certainly be back.
  13. Yes, very true. When I saw him first in the Junior championships last year, I commented, 'Yes, he's got it!' Meaning talent ... it was obvious from the start.
  14. Zach Cook scored 9+1: more than any KL rider so you shouldn't complain.
  15. Nonsense: Lampart has been excellent this year, I hope that he is back next year, when he should kick on. Certainly, he goes against all Brummies tradition, in that he can gate! The crowd was packed out, and saw some great racing.
