Say hoover but put a K instead of the H at the front and I think you have the word you are looking for, or maybe you are thinking of a different word entirely. -

After crashing at Scunthorpe last night there is a doubt over Ben Hopwood guesting for Berwick tonight. Lovely start weather wise, sunny with hardly a cloud to be seen. -

39pts runs Armadale is something of an achievement for Berwick so we should be at least grateful for that. -

And so to the Final, can`t see past Poland and probably/possibly by a record score. I take Russia to take the silver medals with Sweden bronze. -
So the rumours of the race off and final returning the Manchester have gone cold then, in favour of Vojens.

Honestly speaking, apart from Doyle, is the Australian team all that crash hot, so to see them struggling isn`t quite the surprise it could be. Delighted to see the Aussie joker fail miserably. -

Any team with ambitions of making a play off place must target a full four point win at Berwick, Ipswich are one of those teams, maybe that could be Berwick`s best hope of a win. -

See I did and still do disagree with haventgotahope`s original post and made my reply, though thankfully I didn't have to resort to name calling. -

Well I will be there to support my team and hopefully see a decent night of speedway. Along with you I cant see anything other than an away win but as long as I get value for money I will continue to go. But it would be nice to win now and again. -

Berwick 2017 50th Year

Bowtell was very impressive against Redcar and did enough just that night to deserve a team place instead of Payne. Sad to see Berwick miss out. -
Sad to hear about the passing of Geoff, condolences to all family and friends.

I was delighted with the Bridger signing at the start of the season and I thought he would become an out and out No1, sadly that hasn't been the case. The revolution sponsorship didn't work out and then just as he was hitting some decent form he was injured. Thing is with Lewis there always seems to be a back ground story, as is the case now, sadly I don`t see him back at Berwick anytime soon.

Were Berwick ever in with an interest in signing Bowtell full time. -
First off no rider should have a guaranteed team place, be it Doolan or anyone else but I get what your saying. If we don`t move away from that kind of mentality it will be tough to take the team forward. Berwick need to get back to a seven man team, and need Bridger and Morris back asap, Morris has with drawn from Friday`s SWC race off through injury and will miss our meetings this weekend, while Bridger has been referred to a spinal specialist and will under go an MRI very soon, hopefully if there is good news he will be back in the team, and after being lightened in the pocket by the SCB I`m sure he will be keen to return.
