Polish Xtra/nice Leagues/etc Live On Tv
screm replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
I hope Torun can take some kind of a lead into the second leg. -
When the EL changes that normally filters down to the PL in some description. Seeing the likes of Bridger, Harris, Nicholls etc would suit them financially and raise the standard in the PL which is not what is needed IMO, if our younger better are to progress they need to get contracts in leagues abroad and get out of the comfort zone.

Wildcards 2017.....
screm replied to Panthers89's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Having picked up broken ribs & wrist plus a concussion in the Golden Helmet meeting, if he misses GP meetings and the top eight, surely Nicki Pedersen will be a shoe in for a wild card pick. -
Congratulations to Nicki Pedersen on becoming the new SEC Champ.

https://www.facebook.com/anders.d.thomsen.5?fref=ts Not the nicest of pictures so maybe some may not want to look at what is obvious breaks.
-
Anders Thomsen has posted on Facebook that he has broken both his arms.
-
Ljung taken a lesson out of Tai Woffinden`s interviewing school there #pottymouth.
-
I`m no medical man but from the state of Thomson`s hand after his crash I`d say that is Thomsen`s season done.
-
Unfortunately true, nasty looking crash that might've resulted in a fairly major arm or wrist injury.
-
Nasty crash for Thomsen which looks like he has suffered a pretty obvious arm/wrist injury.

Giving the amount of people who have, or have had, the use of this account you would've been better to stand at the turnstiles or pit gate and shook hands with everyone who came through.

Czech Golden Helmet 2017 Help And Advice
screm replied to james1234's topic in International World of Speedway
One of the guys that I sit with at Berwick is over there now and I think he is staying at the Hotel Euro, next time I see him I will point him in your direction and ask if he will send you a PM with the information you need. -
Still lots of rumours, dont worry about that.

Berwick 2017 50th Year
screm replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Either way Berwick will have to give some kind of indication as to what is going on, a buyer has been found and they are still negotiating, a buyer has been found everything is agreed and Berwick are running, no buyer has been found the present owners are closing the club, or the present owners will continue to run pending a new buyer being found. That intention had to be given at the pr-agm meeting last year, you`d think that will be the same story this year round. Who will represent Berwick at this years AGM. -
Berwick 2017 50th Year
screm replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Wont Berwick have to give some kind of intention of running next year at the promoters meeting that discusses any changes before the AGM, that will take place in the next month or so. -
One of many rumours, like the one of at least 2 other PL promotions are supposedly interested, its a real rumour fest right now with Berwick.
-
There was no need for Topsoil`s post, you are as entitled to your opinion on the goings on at Berwick, or any other club for that matter than anyone else.

I think Wajknecht has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

It would certainly get my interest, flights from Edinburgh to Amsterdam look pretty reasonable. -

We have debated this subject more than once and never come to any conclusion either way, I wont hold my breath that this thread will be any different. -
Charlie Webster Fighting For Her Life
screm replied to BWitcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Take your point but we don`t know Charlie was paid for her interview and if she was she may have donated to one of the charities she supports. -
So many rumours though, probably not to many true. I`d back Scott Courtney to remain as manager, he has made a mistake or two this season but I believe has the savvy to learn from those mistakes and this season will have giving him some experience that will make him a better manager in the future. There are many things to be changed at Berwick Speedway but the team manager isn't one of them.
