  1. Don`t think this is going to make for good viewing tonight.
  2. Hopefully if there is one or more interested parties they will go with the one who will secure the future of Berwick Speedway.

  4. Workington Comets ‏@OfficialComets 3m3 minutes ago Our home meeting against @casesrebels will be on 17th Sept
  5. Lakesidelive ‏@Lakesidelive 40m40 minutes ago Andreas Jonsson has crashed this evening riding for Rospiggarna, he is currently on his way to hospital, we await further updates
  6. Maybe the catering facilities would be part of the negotiations when or if a buy out happens. At a guess I think we would need to hear something fairly soon as with the consortium coming in last year Berwick will need to give an intention of running or not before this year BSPA conference.
  7. Not needed, a bit stupid, and unnecessary as the situation had been explained from the box. And some on here complain about negativity and are doom and gloom merchants.
  8. It was in reference to the red light that Jorgensen & Perry saw at the start of Ht11, after the race it was announced from the box the reason why the Berwick pair had stopped was because they saw a red light and a warning was giving about taking photo`s from outside the fence, which was fair enough and should've been the end of the matter. I cant remember word for word but it went along the lines of that maybe someone would want to give the offender "a doing" .
  9. Its a Tuesday. poole speedway ‏@poolespeedway 5m5 minutes ago Fixture update - Poole's outstanding league fixture at King's Lynn will be run on Tuesday 13th September
  10. To be honest you don`t need to be all that knowledgeable to know the comments from the centre green last night were un-called for, wrong and very silly. If there is to be a take over then I hope things are renewed and refreshed both on track and off, meeting presentation would be included in that I hope.
  11. Fair to say Mr Jensen isn't the biggest fan of the Berwick track and giving his most recent performance at Berwick I don't think we need to listen to his opinion all that much.
  12. Great to hear you enjoyed your night. "Demise of the Bandits", not so fast, I am hopeful a buyer will be found and Berwick will come to the tapes next season and for quite a few more. Fully agree with you on the comments from the centre green following the Ht11 red light, not called for, nor necessary, no matter how frustrating it was to see the Berwick riders stop.
  13. Certainly a strange one as Perry and Jorgensen clearly saw something that the two Somerset riders didn't, Not sure how the referee could stop the race as on track there was nothing wrong, it was a satisfactory start, no jumping, no tape touching and nobody came down in the first bend, very unlucky on the Berwick riders though. Credit to Berwick for holding the PL table toppers, as has been mentioned Liam Carr is in good form right now, and again produced the goods last night. Another low crowd though racing on an off night, a working night and with the schools due to go back that will have all worked against the club, hopefully the people will come out for the last meeting of the season this Saturday against Rye House, maybe the club will go down the huge announcement coming route to get a few more out.
  14. Congratulations to all at Somerset Speedway on finishing top of the PL table.
  15. Very pleasant start weather to this Monday, and forecast to stay good for all day. No doubting Somerset will be looking for a full point away win but I hope the Berwick riders will answer their critics on track as a home win will at least put a few smiles back on a few faces.
  16. Quite a performance from the Diamonds and its good to see Matej Kus back among the big points, hopefully you will have softened Somerset up for the next away meeting.
  17. Whilst I agree with much of what you say taking away or reducing the banking would give us a gate and go track even more than we have now. I would love to see the track widened but that`s not going to happen, however we have seen great meetings on the present shape which leads to the thorny subject of track prep.
  18. Not what Plymouth Speedway needed, hopefully they get their fence repaired and those responsible are dealt with and then reported to the Police.
  19. I agree that it would be great to see Sayfutdinov back in SGP but I think it would be unfair he should get back as a wild card pick, it was his choice he left SGP and I think if he is to get back in it should be through the qualification meetings.
  20. Giving how crap this England game is I`d get along to Brough Park and be thankful for it.
  21. Not half as expensive as having to make up any financial loss from a postponed meeting, more so a double header especially when you are desperate to make the play offs. If it rained yesterday but has been dry today its almost certain they would've saved this meeting.
  22. I know when Edberg snr was involved with Hammarby he was a big sponsor of Tomasz Gollob, if he was to take over maybe he could persuade Mr G to become a Bandit.
