Giving the presenter at Berwick I`m amazed we get any music at all, horrendous or otherwise. -

You mean the Polish guy, when will people understand that any decent rider from Poland will not commit to a full season over here. -

Yes but that is Glasgow's gain, with a bit of luck they will dump him before he has enough meetings that make him one of their assets, leaving the way clear for us to nip in and sign him full time. -

No tin hats needed, I see the point your making though I don't see any rider out there who can do any better then we have right now, not even this promotion would dare to go back to the likes of Aspregren or Edberg. As I posted earlier we can only hope that once the averages have sorted themselves riders will start to perform in their new positions. -

True Glasgow were up against a team bang in form yesterday, but a zero score from your No1 and an attitude to go along with it is unacceptable. Wolbert seems to be having issues right now but that cant be doing him nor Glasgow any good. -
It was mixed news for a couple of Berwick riders in Poland today, Claus Vissing was rider for his club Krosno where he scored 11+1, sadly his team was beaten 55-34. Better news for David Bellego where his club Ostravia were victorious at Ople 49-41, Bellego scoring 4+1 including one heat win.

Berwick, early on, looked like they might have nicked a point, before falling away in the later races. The season is now firmly up and running, you get the feeling there`s more questions than answers with this Berwick team. Hopefully once the averages have sorted themselves out we will see an improving picture. -

Fair enough though the predicament Wolbert finds himself is doing Glasgow and the rider no good at all. -

I`m only thinking of the young fellows mental state, he`s obviously not getting any, he`s gambled his money away, now he`s worrying about the state of Glasgow Speedway, next stage of his decline is announcing his love and devotion to the Monarchs, so we`d best save his soul while there`s a chance. -

Not unless you take a chance with an un-tried rider from Sweden, or Czech etc, or maybe a rider from the EL looking to double down, the first is a gamble the second leaves the risk of losing a rider when the Glasgow fixture clashes with his EL clubs match. Hopefully the Glasgow promotion will have taken Wolbert to one side and explained that his performance today was unacceptable, especially as we know he is capable of so much more. -

Ok so Glasgow give Wolbert the chop. who then comes in. The riders that are on the side-lines are there for a reason, and being a Sunday track wont help Glasgow`s search for a new rider who have contracts in Poland. -

I`ve only seen Glasgow once this season, Berge looks like a bit of a talent as does Thomsen, Harrison and Pijper seem to be doing ok, but Lemon and Wolbert are not, as yet, scoring the points Glasgow need to win meetings. The dilemma for the promotion might be how long can they let under perform, especially giving the season they had last year where things didn't exactly go to plan. IMO their supporters deserve so much more. If, and its a big if, Wolbert is doing to Glasgow what Gjedde did to Berwick, then he needs to be giving the boot. Berwick let there then No1 fiddle a move to Newport, Glasgow cannot let that happen. -

Running into Edinburgh in this kind of form, every team will struggle, but Glasgow need to be better than 35pts at home. -

Pressure must be starting to be upped on Wolbert & Lemon, but the problem for Glasgow is if there`s going to be change it might be a case of who comes in rather than just sacking Wolbert and/or Lemon. With the yolk on Glasgow. -

In Vissing we have our own jump starter, though it was funny last night when Bach was guilty of a ridiculous jump start, to which the referee promptly warned Doolan who couldn't jump a start even with a gun to his head. -
Berwick will need to take the full points for an away win if they stand any kind of chance of getting to the Semi`s, Workington today and then Glasgow when ever it gets re-arranged, unlikely IMO.
