  1. But because is past misdemeanours it appears some would argue that Auty was just getting what he deserved.
  2. You know, you are correct, IMO Hall had every right to go over a kick Auty, who knows Auty might've been hurt but there again who cares, its all about the victim and in this incident it clear poor old Richard Hall is the victim. World`s gone mad.
  3. You may or may not be right, but that's not the issue here. Its Hall that's the issue, and him kicking a fellow rider while lying on the track.
  4. All for it, but Hall should've let Auty get to his feet before clumping him.
  5. Delighted to be proved wrong about Smolinski, he was excellent all night. Delighted to be proved right on Harris, he was awful and no matter much coaching he gets from Morris nothing is going to improve his gating to the degree it needs to for Harris to be anything like competitive.
  6. To actually kick a fellow rider who it appears was lying injured on the track has to be the lowest of the low, I hope Redcar and the BSPA throw the book at Hall.
  7. As he was last night, he is top guy in the PL and a pleasure to watch.
  8. Credit to Edinburgh on their win, their top two came up with the goods in Ht15 where as Berwick's didn't. You can throw any superlatives you want at Craig Cook, he was great to watch and he has obviously worked very hard on his kit and career and is reaping the rewards now, a pleasure to watch. Steve Worrall has started the season well, and had another good night last night, his score went a large way to get the Monarchs the points. Not my work but there was a stat said to me last night that over the two meeting the Edinburgh reserves outscored the Berwick reserves by 37 to 4 including bonuses, Berwick`s 4pts coming from third places. If your looking a reason why we lost both meetings that would be a decent place to start. Far to early to hit the panic button just yet, however home defeats are go good to everything at Berwick Speedway, to many more and people will find other things to do for their Saturday night. Berwick`s strength in depth met with the approval of most of us, if the team clicks you get results such as last week against Redcar, if it doesn't hit those heights you get what happened last night. Thankfully we have the pleasure of entertaining Glasgow next week, so its vital we get back to winning ways against the Tigers. Once again the meeting was run at a good pace with all the racing over by 8-45, leaving time to get the young riders out to race in their NJL match and I've taken up Mr Barrie on his advice to subscribing to the clubs news letter, I`m looking forward to getting the 1st of these over the next few days. Nonsense it was just racing, two riders going for the same part of the track.
  9. Correct, bit cloudy but dry and hopefully will remain so for the rest of the evening. Edinburgh cant win tonight with only Cook scoring, he will need back up, it is vital then that in those races Berwick take the majority of heat advantages, which I believe they will.
  10. Posted 03 April 2014 - 07:49 PM That's it, I've had enough of this place.
  11. Excellent stuff but I will continue to use my own observations, calculations, measurements and reading to get my forecasts. Unlike others I don't need official-dom to form an opinion, freedom of thought is great thing and its nice to be on the outside looking in.
  12. Our season wouldn't be complete if it was to have a least one hammering at Edinburgh, so there`s no point in getting all depressed about it. Edinburgh are a decent team and there will be more than Berwick to suffer at the hands of the Monarchs this season. Onwards & upwards.
  13. After a couple of rotten days weather-wise, the forecast for tomorrow is reasonable. It will remain dry tonight and for most of tomorrow, any rain could come late afternoon into early evening. Still quietly confident of a Berwick win tomorrow.
  14. Am I right in thinking this starts at 6am British time.
  15. Andreas Jonsson NK Iversen Nicki Pedersen Darcy Ward Holder & Batchelor = 25pts Buy Holder 5 Buy Batchelor 5
  16. Excellent, paranoia, that can be the bases to our case. Since reading your news letter you`ve become a gibbering wreck of your former gregarious fun loving self, frightened to look on BSF to see any offending posts.
  17. You could be considered as many things, most of which I`m sure you`d admit to, but never grumpy. I`d consider defamation.
  18. All testing of equipment should've been done by now in pre-season, and the Berwick riders having had P&P along with a full meeting last Saturday should now have a set up for Shielfield, especially if the track is prepared to the same levels as it was last week and every week from now on, so the excuse of riders getting used to the track or still looking for a set up is an empty vessel sailing on the high sea of lame excuses. Edinburgh will prove a tougher test IMO than Redcar, especially with Craig Cook in their team, but I believe there`s enough weaknesses in the rest of the Edniburgh team for Berwick to exploit. Berwick 52 Edniburgh 40.
  19. Not quite everyone. I think what yesterday proves is there is indeed one born every day.
  20. The re-arranged date for this fixture is Thursday May 15th.
  21. Today brought the astounding news from Berwick Bandits' speedway promotion that for 2015 they intend to return to a new, purpose-built speedway-only stadium on the site of their former Berrington Lough home, near Wooler. Promoter Dennis McCleary explained: “We have given this matter a lot of thought, and decided to announce our news today, rather than have it leaked on the internet or other means”. “We are aware how successful big-league racing at Berrington Lough was when we were there before, and have decided to make an immediate start on rebuilding the stadium, with a view to attracting a team capable of emulating the glories of 1991”. “If all goes well, we will apply for elevation to Elite League status as early as next season, and bring the best riders in the world back to Berwick-upon-Tweed”. Fund-raising for the project will begin almost immediately, with the first planned venture being the launch of a calendar, featuring members of the club's promotion in tasteful speedway-themed "calendar girl" nude poses. Dennis McCleary is available to talk about the projected move on 07713-101372.
