We did that at the start of last season and still ended up with both fighters in the team

Another Boxall and Doyle situation when Nelson gets the all clear from immigration ?? Maybe there will be room to keep Lanham and drop a second string to make the team stronger ??? Nahhhhhh this is Rye House, its Lens club and he does what he wants )))
-
Len treated Steve Boxall with kid gloves last year. Supplied him with bike etc. chose him over Jason Doyle (Much to the annoyance of a large section of the fans) when he recovered from injury, sustained during an interesting night out after last years press and practice day ??? And for most of the season his bike performed like a pig. Maybe lack of tuning or effort or money ??? Did not really repay the confidence and efforts of Len to bring him back into the fold. I've watched him since he started racing for the Raiders and like the guy, but I have my doubts he will last the season with you.

It will never happen, Luke is now listed on the fixtures and fittings insurance for Rye House Stadium

Wait and see

If the team is as above, I think Rye with the addition of Tai will run the Bjerre less Panthers close. Linus v Neathy - Linus just Bach v Tyson - even MJJ v Richie/Luke - MJJ win Olly v Jordan - Jordan win Eddie v Tai - even Kyle v Richie/Luke - Richie/Luke win ??? v Jason G - ??? Head to head match ups look for a close match at Rye ?? If it was at the showground then it looks more like 6 out 7 to Panthers
-
Yes, I think your right Shadders, but Eddie is one of my favourite riders so it will be interesting to see some of the best Rye riders of the past 10 or so years up against each other Now if we can get Tommy and Brent as well
-
Saw in todays local paper that Eddie K will join Tai and Linus in the Rockets match against Peterboro. Normally couldn't care less about challenge matches, but seeing Linus, Eddie, Tai and the Bjerre boys, along with Jordan, Neathy and Nelson could be entertaining.
-
But I think as either previously stated here or on the Rye House Website, Jason Bunyan is the first current Rye House rider to be named in the main body of a Grand Prix.
-
Just read the bookies odds for PL next year (Rye 25/1), are we really that bad ? Only Plymouth have longer odds to win PL (40/1). I am not expecting to win anything, but I dont expect to be any worse than mid-table, same as last year. What do other Rye supporters think ?
-
If there giving Bunyan the wild card, might as well make it a Rye House double and put Richie Hawkins in as reserve (as he's out there anyway)
-
Just a thought !!! I'm not sure as it doesn't normally apply to Rye. Didn't GP riders automatically get an 8 or above average for team building average in the EL, as Jason will not have actually ridden for Rockets prior to the GP ? I hope nothing silly like this will apply ? Wev'e had sillier things happen in speedway before
-
Your right Shadders. Scandinavian GP (Malilla) 14th August 2010. Linus as reserve, 2 rides and 1 point. But I am still looking for a rider who started a grand prix in the named 16 ? In the last few years I can think of only Linus, Tai, Eddie K and Davey Watt who have ridden in Grand Prix's. but not in main body of grand prix when currently riding for Rye House. I know that a lot more of you have a more in depth and longer knowledge of Rye House riders history.
-
Good news for a Rye House Rider Have we ever had a current Grand Prix rider in the team before ?? I am sure that other members and ex-riders from Rye will rally round to help him. Richie Hawkins - gating coach Steve Boxall - mechanic and bike preparation Luke Bowen - wheelies and celebrations Chris Neath - Racing tactics and grippy track settings Len Silver - PR and supporters club Oh well, It will be good to see him on the parade lap.

I agree Shads, you didnt look well last time I saw you, all huddled up on your seat at Newport.
-
I see on the BSPA site that the Olympic Committee have asked Len not to race during the Olympic Games as they are worried about their crowd levels Len must be well connected as similar happened last year when Simon Cowell asked Rye to not go up against his X Factor programme. Sod the millions that want to see the Olympics and X Factor, its cocking up my Saturday Evenings

Lee signed as a Raider, officially anounced today
-
WHOOSH !!!!! Charlie Brown to replace Jordan maybe ? And Snoopy at reserve
-
Four riders practising at track this afternoon. My spies say one in black kevlars looking fast ?? Cannot see names on vans ?? Maybe Bunyan ? Dont know ?
-
16.09 Just had a light shower of rain but nothing serious. I should think still on at present.
-
Why does Len persist with David Mason ? The only thing 'Magic' about him is that if he comes off the white line he disappears. I would have much preferred Lee Strudwick. Rest of the team looks OK I am happy to see Barry back, but last year he had god and bad meetings on the Rye track from what I remember.
-
Just read reports and looked on BSPA site. Under National League Clubs it shows 9 teams ?? Weymouth, Bournemouth and Mildenhall not shown, but Hackney Hawks, Stoke Potters added and Rye House Cobras still listed. BSPA says in statement up to 10 clubs riding. 9 listed (maybe Cobras will be dropped ?) and still rumours of Belle Vue and Peterborough applying to race, With Mildenhall and Sittingbourne still showing interest. Are Kings Lynn still running Stars in NL ? As always, just when thinks things are sorted the BSPA throw it all in the air and change things. Maybe its me age ???? Confused of Hoddesdon.
-
Have just seen statement about Hackney Hawks joining NDL. Using Rye and Lakeside for home matches. Does this mean that Cobras will not be running or that 2.5 teams will run from Rye House. Will get a bit heavy on the pocket to attend all home meetings ??
