What is the real situation regarding Danny's fitness and the likelihood of him actually riding competitively again this season? If he's not likely to be back and be effective we may as well get somebody in before the deadline, RR and guests for the rest of the season surely can't be an acceptable option! Secondly, if we stick with Wallinger getting big fat zeros every meeting till Drew comes on board our season will be over before he arrives, I know it's pretty much over already but that's not a reason not to try! There must be an untried national league rider that would relish the chance of a brief go in our league who could actually score a few points? Now, lose at home to lakeside, then yes it's probably out of our reach. Was outlawed sometime after that, and went back to natural selection process. Seem to remember a similar race was run immediately after the main meeting to secure a ride in the organised second half competition.
